The biggest no for me on the Boxio is all those ledges on the side of the box. What a pain in the butt to clean. The Trelino's smooth sites would be so much easier to clean.
I'm trying to understand how the "composting" part works. I'm looking for a sustainable solution. The key part is what happens to the human waste after it's collected. I've seen and used REAL composting toilets where the waste sits and composts in place over time. They require space and microbes. It looks like the "composting" part for all of these toilets is just marketing spin. Unless the waste is deposited in an actual composting facility, it's probably better to use a cassette toilet and legally dispose of one's waste where it's properly treated.

Plastic is readily manufactures. lighter too. Maybe a ceramic bowl next round?
