The boards at Istanbul for departures actually show Turkish, English, and the destinations language (e.g. Paris would’ve been in French when displayed)

@@pilotsamtripreports No its the new one but it was under construction... I will upload a video about it in 3 weeks and you can tell me if its the old or new one... But i think its the new one!
Does IST have a automated system where you can print your own boarding pass like Heathrow T5? Or did you have to join a queue for British Airways checkin desk? Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no self serve kiosk for check in bags at IST unless you fly Turkish airlines, since it isn’t a hub for BA. You have to join a queue which takes a while, but always friendly staff.
