Cool video but you should always have a respirator on. You should wear a mask even when sanding down stuff. The amount of particles released from the chemicals are so microscopic that you might not now how much your inhaling. Some people act like their too cool for respirators and wind up inhaling half the crap they spray out. No disrespect. Just some feedback from one painter to another. Keep painting 👍🏼
Thanks dude! Trust me I learned from my stupidity back then! I ALWAYS wear a respirator now when painting! Just wish I would have worn it more when I was learning 😂
Honestly it depends on what look you are going for. I love Roth if I want that huge bass boat flake look. About 99% of my projects I use paint huffers. They have awesome flake and it’s a good medium size and sparkles just as good. They also have thinner/smaller flake as well so I mostly use all painthuffers! But Roth is definitely larger flake and I love it for that effect
When the clear is done is it still a bit lumpy from the metal flake? can that be sanded out? I make models and would like to learn this. Pretty feet by the way.
What's under the cover? Can't mix too many colors together, it always make it look black!!! I've been itching to paint something cool in Heavy Metal Gold Flake!!! Haven't found what I want to paint yet!!! Been thinking about my Old School 1970 Heavy Metal Desk!!! One day!!! Keep Rocking it out!!!
@@JessicaStear Bad Ass!!! How about a look sometime? I have a 39 Ford Standard Coupe, 54 Bel Air HT, 64 Short Wide C10,65 Panel, 76 Vette named Jackie, two 79 Monte Carlos, and A 86 Monte Carlo SS!!! Yeah I'm a gear head!!! Keep Rocking it out!!!
I would like to see how adding black flakes to each color would look specifically the purple
Awesome!!!!

try black basecoat next time.. black with royal blue flakes looks great too.
black would be such a good choice for a base!! I use black now a lot for my metal flake paint jobs
