777020 has entered service on the Southport to Hunts Cross Line this morning as the first unit on that line which is the final line for the Class 777s to enter service on
Great video. Reminds me a lot of 313201, which was a train I used to commute around Brighton fairly regularly. Will miss the PEPs when they’re gone. ~ Daniel
507 001 looks great in retro BR blue livery. It's a shame they weren't able to include the iconic BR double arrow logo on the side of the train, but still nice to see nonetheless. Thank you for sharing Simon.
A True masterpiece a true perfection in all her she look splendid was out chasing her 507001 today Ellesmere Ports next objective is to get her on Northern Lines 😍😍😍
Looking forward to the Glossop line . Since I was young, the Manchester /Hadfield/Glossop triangle has held a great fascination and at last I had the opportunity to travel there last year.
Looks like a great day, Simon. I don’t miss the BR blue livery much as it just reminds me how drab the railways were when I was young in the 80s! At least privatisation brought colour!
The Class 507 “507001” in BR Merseyrail livery does look exactly like the Class 313 “313201” when it was used on the West Coastway Line. Before Southern replaced them with the Class 377/3 3-Car electrostars. Are you going to do Brent Cross West and East Linton.
It might have been nice if at the time of privatisation and the franchise system. They had a stipulation that all trains should still, carry the blue and white livery. And a good piece of tracking down that unit SoT.
Honestly the ticketing system is weird and messed up being honest and even myself cannot puzzle why sometimes, I give you a perfect example, Rugeley Trent Valley to Manchester Piccadilly.... no railcard, a off peak single ticket cost £27.30, Rugeley Town is a extra 3 minutes of a journey £47.30 for a off peak single..... a extra £20 for a extra 3 minutes!
507001 looks amazing in the retro British Rail Blue livery awesome vlog
Brilliant video Cyber, 507 001 looks amazing in the blue livery. :)
Looks like you had fun Simon.
Gotta say I like the blue livery on 507 001! Good video!
It is nice that Merseyrail have wrapped it in that livery, Thanks.
Great video. 507 001 looks great in BR Blue. 😀
Thank you, it sure does
Nice to see Class 507 “507001” in Merseyrail BR livery and the Class 777 trains are becoming more popular since they have entered service.

Lucky I did get to see and ride on 313201 a few years ago on the East Coast Way, Thanks Daniel
Thanks Simon, great video. Yes the Hoylake Station building is a cool design, I can almost picture it in an episode of Poirot. Until next week!
Excellent video Simon!
I like the shirt! 👍🙂
Thanks Ian, That shirt will make another appearance in a future video lol

I do like that retro blue livery, but then I'm that old to remember blue rolling stock everywhere!!!
I will make it a priority to catch 507001 as I never got the chance to get 313201. Still an epic video Simon :)

The Retro Merseyrail livery does look great Simon 👍
Excellent video love 001 in the original colours. Luckily it was my commuter train on the Northern line a number of times.

I didn't go to Brent Cross West Today and I'm not doing East Linton as it falls on a work day I'm afraid.
What do you think about the new blue livery of the first example of the 507 unit of 507001
Honestly it really looks great!

507001 was nice colour
I got an advert encouraging me to go by train in the middle of this video! I doubt anyone watching this would need encouragement!

do you think 313201 & 507001 do a Pep tour in southern region of England
Can't see it happening being honest, besides 313201 had required a pantograph now (not installed yet) so it can run on overhead lines in the future

@Sim0nTrains 507001 will not be going to the scrapyard
That's true it's 100% isn't going to the scrapyard, its going to a heritage railway in Wales.
why is the daysave CHEAPER then a single from ormskirk to liverpool
