Infield Fly - if runners are on at least first and second with less than two outs, the batter is automatically out if an Infield Fly is called. This is to keep the fielders from letting the ball drop and turning an easy double/triple play.
I think in all the baseball I watched this season, I saw maybe two infield flys called. It's harder to explain than it's worth, given how little impact it has. And yet, the second it vanishes from the rules, you know you'd start seeing players not catch things on purpose.
Normally in yer bezbol, right-handed batters do better against left-handed pitchers - and the versely-vice-a. A pitcher with "reverse splits" is (confusngly) one against whom same-handled batters do better. Also, the Zoltan Zoltans of the world aside, there is some history of sure-handed, speedy, lead-off hitter types among centerfielders (Marquis Grissom, Steven Finley, Stan Javier, etc). Oh, and Dickie Yardline also asked me to mention that Cookie Peaches-Zimmerframe might be due a breather... Cheers
Reverse splits Reverse splits are basically when you have a picture who per say is a righty but he has better percentages against left-handed batters then he does with same-sided batters that's all it is 👊
Flippin' heck! The revenge-bonk on that pitcher had me in absolute stitches!

Bizarre, but fair enough.
