- I arrived in Thailand’s capital with a mission to find some Muay Thai shorts at Khaosan Market agead of my first training session the following morning.
Despite being surrounded by all the ameneties Bangkok has to offer - i couldnt have felt more out of my depth amidst all the western tourists.
What seemed a routine destination for many became an adventure of a different kind as i went from the dazzling towers and secluded coast line of Sri Lanka, to the party town of Khao San Road.
Nevertheless, I went on the look out for my first pair of Muay Thai shorts and taste of real thai food as i sought to immerse myself in the true culture of Thailand

Are you going to stay in Thailand long enough to experience Songkran?
I hope so! Where's best to celebrate it? And do you know if its as big in the Philippines?
@@InvestedAdventure as far as I'm aware Songkran is a Thai event only. The best places to experience it would be in Chiang Mai if you want to get some fun in, but not go really crazy; or go to Pattaya for the full tilt insanity. Be advised: you will get wet
