Thank you for your tips to Bangkok Chris! Bangkok was one of the first places we went to on our honeymoon out of four countries and your tips made our trip here go smoothly!! Thank you ❤
ANA is a great airline!! Chatuchak Weekend Market is also known as JJ Market. I had the duck noodle soup there (50 baht) and it was pretty good. I have a lot of exciting memories of Thailand from having a bird poop on my head, which got me a discount on some bootleg DVDs (a silver lining) to opening a taxi door and having a motobike taxi with pillion rider crashing into it, to feeding a baby elephant. Learned how to ride a motor scooter there, had minor surgery to remove a Lipoma and was even on a train that hit a small pick-up truck. Ahhhh... so many memories. Bangkok is good fun and it looks like you hit some good spots. Did you make it to the 14:40 - Did you try the crocodile? I had it before at a different restaurant. It was part of an exotic plate: crocodile, emu, kangaroo, ostrich and something else. Your videos are enjoyable.
Fantastic! Thanks for condensing so much in 15 minutes without it being too rushed. I like your mic, what is it? It looks great and won't get caught up with necklaces. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Life on the Bee List! Good question! Because I get that question so often, I created a frequently asked question video to answer it: ruclips.net/video/Vf5GHG7QXaI/видео.html -- Check out question #5
Hi, love your videos on the trips, very entertaining :) I'm not quite sure but I think mango sticky rice usually has coconut milk over it rather than condensed milk?
Thanks Jang Jang. If I didn't say the name of the restaurant in the video then unfortunately I don't remember. 3 years is a long time. If you're going to Bangkok I hope you enjoy it
The dessert sticky rice and mango is topped with creamy coconut milk not condensed milk. Usually the coconut topping is made of cream of coconut milk, sugar and a bit of salt. They are boiled to condense the material and then put on top of the sticky rice. The sticky rice is boiled with less condensed coconut milk and a bit of sugar. The mango is naturally sweet.
Absolutely love your video. It is my dream to spend a week in Bangkok as well. And I love Thai food I cook it often and watch Thai cooking channels for inspiration and knowledge. But I would absolutely love to go to a Thai cooking class in Thailand that would be amazing.
@@YellowProductions I definitely will one day and maybe I'll bring my Burberry bear with me lol. I'm sure he would enjoy it he's always so cold wearing his trench coat and scarf he would enjoy the warm weather
Great video! Did alot of this stuff myself on my trip. I had a similar experience with taxi and meter, saying it was flat fee only... turned out to be a 40 minute ride for about 5 dollars so ignored it.
I'm seriously considering a trip this coming summer/early fall, your videos are making it very tempting. My only concern, is that all these were pre-covid. I'm hoping that most of this info still applies (prices, safety, etc). Would you say that's the case?
@@YellowProductions awesome, thanks. I'm honestly trying to decide between a trip to Bangkok, or Jakarta. The problem is that its hard to find informative videos (like the kind you make) about Jakarta.
Hey bro, I know it's been quite some time since you posted this video, but I am going to BKK tomorrow from Phuket, how much did you pay for the car with the driver when you went to Ayutthaya? and what company did you use to rent it, if you still remember, thanks a lot !
I feel like Thip Samai has my name on it as I love pad thai! That looked really good. Bangkok looks really awesome! Most Thailand vlogs I have seen don't cover Bangkok very much, so I will be excited to see the ones you have filmed.
I did see small subtitles on the Thai Samai sign that say "Scottman895" right underneath in small letters! :) But yeah... Bangkok... I do feel most travel guides say to skip Bangkok because it's just a typical big city... we spent a week there and really enjoyed it... so for us it was definitely lots of fun!
Yellow Productions your so upbeat and you have such a great personality. She’s a very lucky person to share a life with someone that’s adventurous but not over the top. Your partner is extremely lucky. Cheers 🍻 Doc David
Baipai is cheaper cooking class than elephant and they provide transportation, Khaosan Rd is where drunkies meet another drunkies....Love Baan Khanita at Asiatique
Hey this may sound stupid but I plan to visit Thailand in December for our first holiday and would love to video it like you did (iv never video anything before?) I'm just learning now how would you know when to use the camcorder and when to use the gro Pro? Are they much diffrent would I need both? Also would a mobile phone not do the same?
The Pad Thai place you visited on the sixth day was awarded a recommendation from Michelin last year 2018, which somewhat surprised the Thais since the vendor used to be good before it became so popular that the quality control was getting difficult for the shop itself. I personally like the vendor right next to Thip Samai because it is less touristy and is able to maintain the quality and the taste. It has no star, however, but it doesn't matter now since Thip Samai has lost its fame from the Michelin guide this year as well.

Once again you have done a great job. I have not been to Bangkok since 2009 but looking forward to going there in November of 2020.

Oh no, you missed the gold Buddha. I really loved that one. It’s huge. It looks tiny in pictures but it’s huge in person.
I'll have to see it next time! We were so bummed we missed it by just a few minutes

Bangkok is one of the best cities in the world for rooftop bars/restaurants. Strange that you didn't mention that or go to any!?
I don't really drink alcohol.. so rooftop bars aren't on my to do list :)
Watched it twice man. Love from india.
Sweet!

Hi Michael -- yeah. Bangkok hasn't changed that much. Life is pretty much back to normal. Prices are probably up a bit like everywhere

Hi Eddy, we used Oriental Escape and the price was 5,500 THB
Let me correct that Mango sticky rice with coconut milk-not condensed milk 😁
Thanks for this correction too!

Hi. I have a question. Are there toilets available in the places you just showed us? (The weekend market, for example??). Thank you
Yes.. Chatuchak market has toilets. They aren't "great" but they are toilets :)

Terminal 21 food court is the cheapest, best food court
Nice Video
I want some pad Thai.
Mmmm
Need more malls and foodcourts in the world. How about the air pollution and heat?
If grandpa Richard put his feet in the fish tank those fish could eat for days!
Mmmmmmm.. lots of calluses? :)
Great VLOG thanks
Mmm those currys
They were currylicious! :)

I think the food courts have good food :)
👍👍👍👍
Wat Pho is actually pronounce "Poe"
Thanks for the correction!
How sanitary is that fish tank with the dead skin eating fish?
I wouldn't put my feet in it! :)
Bad taxi ruined Thailand image.
It's not condense milk on mango sticky rice.
Thanks for the correction.. it's coconut milk!
wrong info dear...Wat Arun entrance fee is 50 baht, Grand Palace is 500 baht, Wat Pho 100 baht
Thanks for the correction!
Go there just to visit a mall ?? and mall food.
Did you get a sick belly sorry im worried bout that
We were good.. but we ate mostly at food courts and not random street food
Wat “Po” , Thai probelm in spelling for proper pronunciation
Thanks for the correction!
flies 1/2 across the world...... goes to the mall...
The malls in Bangkok are impressive... not like the malls in the USA for sure
And it's flipping hot in Bangkok... so the malls have A/C!!!
@@YellowProductions I saw 3 members of BNK48 Thai idol group at Terminal 21. There were a bunch of people surrounding the stage. I had to google them.
I hate shopping.
Where's the best spot to find ladyboys?
One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble.
Literally everywhere
Nana Plaza has ladyboy shows... so that's an easy bet
