I got feedback from Sonicake and they told me that the problem with the headphone jack is an exception, it shouldn't be that loose.. So if you buy a Matribox II you won't have that issue :)
Thank you for your video. I received my Matribox II a couple weeks ago. I contemplated whether it would be worth spending the additional $100 USD for the Matribox II over the original Matribox I. Between the metal casing, the extra CNTL button, the individual effects buttons, and the larger screen, I'd say it is definitely worth it. Editing/creating patches is super easy and intuitive with the II. I've found that I don't really need the software as it's so easy to edit on the fly. I don't seem to have the same issue with my headphone jack, so it might just be your unit. My only real complaint, is that the yellow lettering on the metal casing is difficult to read, particularly in low light situations. It's a bit difficult to read the effect module buttons.
Thanks for your comment! Good to know that the headphone jack problem seems to be an exception! And yes, the yellow colored letters are pretty hard to read. I forgot to mention that in the video
Which do you like better matribox ii or valeton gp-200? And why? Just found your channel any absolutely love all the gear you have reviewed. You seemed to really like gp-200 but how does this stack up to it, in your opinion? Thanks again for your awesome videos! 👌
what is better nux mg 30 or sonicake matribox II??. i think ill get sonicake if its the same with nux mg 30 because too many people using mg 30 nowdays.
Thanks for the very nice video! Two things I cannot figure out (which I find important) are whether it is possible to loop over running drums and if it is possible to overdub multiple times.
Show de bola o video! Poderia me tirar uma duvida? Em Relação somente a questão de timbres, qualidade dos AMPS e effeitos como Delay, Reverb e ate mesmo as simulações de pedais de Drive, a Matribox é parecida ou melhor que a Hotone Ampero 2?
Anyone know how the looper and drummer features in the Sonicake MatriBox2 compare to the Donner Arena 2000? The Donner offers no count-off feature when using the drummer -- in fact, the drummer and looper seem totally isolated -- as in, the drummer does not even stay in sync with the looper.
Hi nice sounds, I already own the first Matribox, I generally practice at home with headphones. Do you think it is worth to get the Matribox 2? Thank you.
Hi, if you only play at home, are happy with the sounds and the overall experience with the pedal then I would say you don't need to upgrade. But if you want the bigger screen and maybe want to take it to a rehearsal at some point, then an upgrade to version II would make sense :)
So, you can essentially move the blocks around and decide where you can insert the fx loop, yes? Like say, I'd like to put a drive pedal before the amp on one preset (through the fx loop) and then on another preset, id rearrange the drive pedal after the amp (again through the fx loop). Does that make sense?

Does the Matribox 2 implement scenes(or similar feature) as found on NUX MG-400?
I was curious too
Great video, everything explained, but I still have some doubts, Matribox 2 or valeton GP 200?

Would you recommend the matribox II over thr Nux MG400? Trying to decide...
Me too
Chorus CL and Sweet CL are the nicest I've heard of that type.
What steps did you do to connect the sonicake in the laptop?

Does the drum looper output to the USB interface?
In other words, can you play to the drum but have only the guitar record on the computer?
How do u turn it off and on without pulling the jack
Same as valeton? Does the looper and drum synchronise?
Thank you
Hey mate just got one this recently. I'm finding it hard how to setup from clean to distortion. Can you show us how? Cheers!
Are the loop files transferrable to the computer? Does the pedal also work as a USB interface to a DAW?
nice fx...hope i can buy this

Yes I think that should work, but to be sure you can simply download the manual at the official website :)
does it have send /receive?
How do I adjust the volume level of the AUX IN input?
Nice review, thanks🤘🤘
I've have seen references that the chassis is metal, but some reviewers just say the "enclosure is plastic" -- what is the real scoop?
Well, I just heard the answer... this one is metal, the first one is not.
@@brucerothwell7944 It is definitely metal
What can you do with the MIDI ports? Are the Send/Return jacks stereo or mono?
Please check the manual at the official website, I don't know every detail :)
Tem harmoniser dueto?
1:55 RHCP 🤘🔥
What is everything that you need to actually use this besides a guitar?
A power source, a guitar cable and a pair of headphones :)

The yellow text is super hard to read, no?
It's super hard to read. I have to use the flashlight on my phone to read the text. A little more contrast or larger lettering would have been nice.
Yes it is not easy to read, forgot to mention that in the video!
Why companies do crazy things like this is frustrating. I guess it's not too hard to make your own label to stick over it but you shouldn't have to.
I was thinking the same as you guys. But you would probably memorize what each button is for in a couple hours, no?
