This is a somewhat quick overview on my Alibaba valved exhaust with a catless downpipe and BM3 OTS tune.

Is your exhaust the titanium one or the regular brushed metal one? And how was the fitment on it?( did you have to do any modifications to have it fit perfectly?) How does the valvles work(are there any cables or modules needed to be installed?
It’s the real stainless steel one. It is linked in the description. Towards the end of the video I state the fitment was perfect to bolt on. Valves are installed on exhaust already, just have plugs that run into a module gets power from the 12v port in the trunk. Super easy to run.

super easy, literally connects through the truck cig port and plugs right into the valves

Yes it comes with a remote. Open, closed, and half way closed.

I have till 2026 or 2027 before I actually need to smog it. I only pay registration. I have no inspections here in California

@@lookma9247 Since you’re a 540i get the T style muffler you only need one that will go in the middle at the back where your original muffler is. I think the size should be 3 inch but I’m not completely sure.

Unfortunately not. I honestly was worried about that but after installing I prefer the option of being valves open in comfort.

It shouldn’t. There’s people that have been running them for a while with no issues. I’m sure it’s coated with something to prevent it
What platform are you tuned under and is it reliable. is it also true you have to have your battery connected to another battery when flashing your ECU?
BM3 OTS Stage 2 - Settings are left alone and have been ran by a lot of people with no issues. It’s not custom tuned so it’s not pushing the limits. It’s conservative and what the engine can handle. I push this car everyday.
I did not have another battery when flashing either. Just had the wifi OBD connected. All other connections (Carplay, etc) turned off and had no issues.
How much does your catless down pipe exhaust cost?
catless downpipe I think was under $350. exhuast was $1090

😮💨, you don’t get codes with those headlights?
No codes or coding required. There is a side marker error since these don’t have the corner amber light that the US spec has. But everything works properly still.
@@r_ajivi ask because i think i seen you post on bimmerpost about your error codes you got with those laser lights. So just wanted to check on how they were removed before buying them myself.

@@VB_Bryan Unfortunately these only come automatic. The MK5 Supra is the only way to have this same engine and the manual option. Great engine

@@pipikakachu definitely can with the downpipe, exhaust and tune. I know 2021+ they turned the stock burbles down compared to 2020 but can easily be achieved through tune.
