Why is Nocturne liked so well again? I'm not saying it's a bad game but Jesus it isn't a gift from God. Edit: The very small popularity has made me realize that this looks like I'm bashing nocturne. I'm not. I think it's a good game. But I don't think it's the best game ever made. Hell I personally think SMT4 and 5 are way better, but never believe that I think nocturne is a bad game.
One instance of bad luck that can be found in every jrpg will get idiots to immediately try to tear at nocturne and calling it 100% luck based. Screw off. Your beloved earthbound when Ness is alone has far more bullshit like this. Rworded damage rolls, random turn order, limited healing, more lack of directions than SMT1, low hit rates etc. But earthbound is unanimously praised as an immaculate rpg that is perfectly playable today, and totally was the first rpg set in a modern setting. Smt1 is better than earthbound in every aspect. Mother 3 is the only good game of the mother series.
See you made your first mistake in your second turn, you attacked when you were SUPPOSED to turn off the game entirely.
Hahaha good one
Brother had a medicine
Didn't use it
This doesn't entirely sound like a joke. Double Sukukaja at this point in the game looks like you just lose as hard as the clip shows.
The quintessential RPG experience. Getting absolutely bodied by "trash mobs".
not what quintessential means here but i get what you're going for
Not even "trash mobs".

I like that the game taunts you with those Medicines
Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne would never take advantage of our innate gullibility
He got bodied by Nocturne's version of a Goomba.
Aren't these the very first mobs in the game? Then how are you supposed to win since you don't have any buff or debuff skills yet?
Pray to a higher being that every attack connects or in rare cases get a critical
You basically hope for the best that RNG doesn't screw you over with these enemies casting sukujaka in the beginning.
Pray
"Fear the God and give glory to Him!"
You restart and hope not to get bodied.
Nocturne is litterally the ONLY video game where I ever worry about having a low luck stat. The very first stat I invest in is luck.
then you've made a mistake, since luck does basically nothing. It was researched.

I love it how Nocturne is quite hard at the start but it gets easier as you get stronger
You were kind enough to include the part where you got two Medicines that you didn’t use in a situation where you would use them.
ah yes beacuse thos are supposed to increas his hit or str right? clown ass comment
Dude, they used suku once and still bodied me, tried to play on hard for my first run, got shit on, never again

The thumbnail of this video is incredible. Too bad we can't see it well.
And they had about 10 hit points each
This look fun to be honest
tbh im kinda having an easy time with normal. i wanna try hard but dont wanna lose progress
same lmao
If you’re playing the HD version you can just switch to hard mode mid game
Welcome to Amala
to be fair you got 2healing items right before and didn't use them. The real bullshit is the preta that can kill you in one turn.
You got two medicines!
I always found so funny the tutorial level 1 Will o’ Wisp pulling out sukukaja 😭😭😭
They did it
they used buffs
I feel like this could have been dodged if you just been smart and used the move "Turn off console". But what do I know now really?
Somehow on my first hard mode run the game let me beat the tutorial first try.
Why the fuck they have Sukukaja?!
I didn't even know they could use sukukaja at this part of the game

Why did not you try Focus, Deliebrate, or Lust Candy?
you know, if they changed sukukaja into rakukaja it wouldn't be as impossible
something something innate gullibility
Wtf, in the original when i fought them they never buff themselves
you just got the healing items???
At that point is there even a way to avoid the encounters?
who up getting they death touched
Yeah is this fight even doable? I had to switch to normal for a sec.
where is the item command?
If I remember correctly, I think you have to push right on the d-pad/stick to move over to the item selection
thats were you made a mistake. you shouldve done ng+ instead and use metatron with megidoloan
