I like how Robin falls off the slab. He got the same dose of gas as all the others and he may be intelligent and competent but he's also just a kid ;_;
Are you ready for nightmares in the labyrinth? We got circus death, fear of disowning, death of a father, and the curse of resurrection. All 4 can be found at the Court of Owl’s Labyrinth of Hooties and Torture. 😂
This was great, a sequence right out of the New 52 Court of Owls run. Each character’s experience is done right, I played as Jason which made it especially intense.
I think it would be cooler if Jason's hallucination would be him the same room as the Joker as he beats him down... Seems much scarier to think about if you ask me.
I thought that they might have shown a recreation of his place of death, along with his resurrection, but this worked as well. (We did have previous version of such a hallucination in Arkham Knight, so maybe they wanted to establish some distance from that series? 🤷🏽♀️)
Not really. I would be more traumatized about knowing I was trying to kill my family at one point. I think Jason seeing him kill his dad would mess with him more.
I could see that, but I guess they felt that after a while game series with The Joker in front, they wanted to keep him off the board as much a possible, which I can also understand.
Nightwing hallucinating himself faceplanting into the ground really took me out of the moment, my sense of humour must be fucked because as soon as I saw that and heard the meaty thud I was laughing like a madman.
Was just thinking this. As I was playing through as red hood I thought maybe they would at least do a laugh but... The only hint at all was the crowbar. Very odd.
You know, I have to give this game credit. Despite how boring and repetitive gameplay is handled, Gotham Knights certainly is tight on atmosphere, especially when recreating that infamous moment in the New 52 Batman comics where the Caped Crusader is trapped in the Court of Owls' frightening maze. Wish there was a little more variation in what each of the Knights experience. Their unique fears only come near the end of this segment.
@@supersaiyangodvegtio9590 As an adjective boring describes something (or someone) that is tedious, dull, and lacking in interest. As a noun, boring refers to the act of drilling a hole, or the hole itself. I think in this case it is an adjective: not interesting; tedious.
@@jgeorge288 I don't think he literally doesn't understand what the word means. I think he just doesn't comprehend the idea that other people find the game boring.
I think each character should have had a unique villain from their past show up, I think for Dick it should be Tony Zucco, for Babs Firefly from her Year One Comic, For Tim it should be Azrael Jean Paul Valley, since he was the one who replaced Batman during Knightfall and nearly killed Tim. And for Red Hood I think it should be none other than the Joker, have them relive some of their worst times.
I think William Cobb would have been better for Dick, since both Cobb/Talon, and Dick are connected to the Court. Wouldn't have said no to Deathstroke as aDick villain. Barbara could have gotten Gordon Jr, or Mary Turner/Talon, who even worked with Barbara for a time, as Strix.
Scarecrow's hallucinations in Arkham Asylum were quite insane if you ask me. The "glitching" part was one thing, but his entire maze with him as a giant was on a different level back then.
The fact that Dr. Jonathan Crane is mentioned nowhere in context of the labyrinth has me a bit peeved. I guess he just isn't a villain yet? But made the gas? Because the gas was clearly fear gas, the labyrinth can't have been just set pieces.
I know that in the comic version of the story arc, all these hallucinations happened to Batman because of sleep and food deprivation on top of being almost completely dehydrated.
I see WB Montreal incorporated elements from Rocksteady Arkhamverse levels featuring The Scarecrow and Mad Hatter for this level. Unfortunately this doesn’t nearly measured to those previous games.
Red Robin was originally Dick Grayson from Kingdom come’s universe before it was given to Jason during his redemption arc in infinite crisis iirc then finally given to Tim Drake in main continuity and yada yada so technically Grayson and Jason had the title and suit before so he technically wouldn’t be wrong like if they called Grayson or Jason a Robin.

Totally agree, while I was playing as Nightwing I thought that was gonna be Jason’s version.

Batgirl’s are the best fit for this sequence. But all of the characters’ visions are eerie and heartbreaking, in equal parts.

Jason's feels like a bit of a missed opportunity. i mean if there's any part of the game where you would want a Joker cameo, it's here.
This game was weirdly adverse to even mentioning Joker, I didn't hear him referred to by name once
@@Nosfera22 I've found exactly one mention of him by name, in the files you unlock from finding city landmarks

You’re amazing.
best batman channel ever your the 🐐 bro
I kinda wish Bruce had more cutting comments for each of his sidekicks. Maybe let Alfred throw some barbs in there too.
seriously each one could have been unique. They used the same generic dialog for each. BORING
when i saw batman limping i immediately thought of new 52. well, the whole labyrinth made me think of new 52
The parallels r real
It just isn't a post Arkham Batman game unless someone is hallucinating.
You didn’t include any of the dialogue of when you get hit by the spikes.. especially for Red Hood, those are the most interesting parts
Wow was thinking this. Thanks, BAV. You are awesome

Waiting for pt 10
Why didn’t they show the most important part of Jason’s history? Him getting beaten to death by Joker.
THE RED HOOD HALLUCINATION MUST BE HE REMINDS WHEN HE WAS TORTURED AND KILLED BY THE JOKER AND RESURRECTED WITH THE LAZARUS PIT
Yes, because we aren't reminded of all that enough during the whole game, right?

THIS REMINDS ME OF THE RAS AL GHUL CHALLENGE IN ARKHAM CITY OR THE SCARECROW HALLUCINATIONS IN ARKHAM ASYLUM AND ARKHAM KNIGHT
