Very good comparison review. I got the Polaroid Go. It’s cute but from experience so far unusable with flash because pictures are way too dark. I used it on several day trips this summer and in sunny weather ( plus temperature something like 22°C) I got acceptable results with flash off outdoor. Would I recommend it, I guess no.
I’m so glad I watched a few reviews before I bought. I was all in on the Polaroid figuring they would be the best since they were the original. Got the Instax 40 last minute instead and couldn’t be happier. I would have been pissed with the Polaroid.
I know that it is not the context of the review (only fully analogic instant cameras), but I've had a lot of Instax cameras (last one was the Mini 90 - which you CAN turn the flash off) and my current one is the Instax LiPlay. First - the photo quality is much better; dunno if is some processing happening or the lens is better, but it is much sharper than the Mini 90. Second - the size, it is VERY tiny. Third - I love the "fully instant" facet of the analogic Instaxes, shoot, eject, and done. But doing this in the LiPlay is not too far - shoot, press print button, ok, done. Fourth - it have autofocus. Even can have bokeh, in close subjects. Fifth - again, is goes against the motto of instant film, but Instax film is not inexpensive. Having the option to adjust exposure before printing is useful; and using the camera as "party cameras" (one of the best uses for Instax) somewhat makes people dissapointed, accoustumated with pristine smartphone photos, a little and fast ajustment on camera makes the photos much more pleasing. Sixth - it is a (good) Instax printer. When the onboard camera is not up to the task, use your phone and print from the app. I bought it only as a printer with a camera attached as bonus - using digital capture for Instax was a blasphemy for me (I have 2 old - SUPERB - Polaroid peel apart cameras and boxes of peel apart film on the fridge). But...after using the LiPlay, I like it. A lot.
Newer isn't always better sometimes an old fashioned manually operated camera system provides better photo quality that's why I always use instax cameras besides you can always cover the flash for better quality in certain light conditions
very good review!!!!! Long story short polaroid is for the people who want that vintage style in their picture and the fujifilm cameras are for those who want the aesthetic of instant film(or polaroid style) with a more modern sharper image. If you just want something that works then Fujifilm is the camera to go with, but if you want something with a more vintage and enjoy randomness then polaroid. I personally use my polaroid more as i prefer the aesthetic but the fujifilm is not that far behind.
I just don't like the Instax Mini aspect ratio. Just like I don't like vettical videos 😅 For me it's either square or wide so I like the Polaroid Go better than any Instax Mini.
Yes Fujifilm Instax cameras look better Polaroid go but you sound get the the Polaroid now plus that camera has all the features, There us a order Fujifilm Instax mini camera called the mini 25 you can turn the flashlight on or off, Also remember instant cameras do not let the cold , Polaroid have that vintage look they should go back to yesterday loook , When I was a teenager I had a Polaroid Sun 600 the film developed way quicker now you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes. I Love 😍 Polaroid just not that camera I more a Instax fella

Did you like it?
Did ya press the button half way for the auto Focus otherwise the pics come out dark on the go
Yes, always. Thank you for watching.
Could the Polaroid film you are using be stale?
@@tarikyurtgezer1700 unlikely cause we test the equipment with different batches of film before we start filming

Polaroid Go does not have autofocus.
Seems like I got some wrong info on that front. Thanks for letting me know, much appreciated.

Polaroid looks like trash. Even worse than Polaroid of old.
Polaroid film looks like it's damaged or expired.
That’s what I thought too but it was well within date and was stored according to Polaroids recommendations.
lol polaroid
