Who are your top 5 free agents?
I’m a clippers fan do i’m hoping pg leaves ! I honestly wish they could just blow up the team and build with powell, kai jones, bones hyland, t mann, and zubac but that kawhi contract is just going to bite them in the future. But for now, I think the young talent who have something to prove would compliment kawhi, harden and possibly westbrook if he decides to stay !

I wonder if Indiana would be interested in bringing in DeRozan through a sign and trade? The bulls front office would probably still be desperately holding onto being a play in team however DeMar on the pacers would be an interesting fit as playing with Myles turner and with with their fast offense can mitigate some of the spacing issues and would give them a closer which they seemed to need in the playoffs last season.
That would be an interesting fit. They have the assets to make the deal as well I would think. I’m here for it!
I think Paul George going to Golden State would be better than resigning Klay. Maybe they could work out a sign and trade for Klay. I think Klay and Harden fit better than Harden and George
Oh interesting! Ya know I never really think someone will fit in the Warriors scheme more than Klay and Steph, but yeah if you’re looking for straight up production PG is certainly an improvement! That would be cool to see!
@_AVC_ Paul George isn't the shooter that Klay was, but I think rn, he might be the better shooter and can also facilitate when curry goes to the bench. Then, of course, he's miles ahead of Klay as a defender right now. For the clippers, if they keep Harden and Westbrook, then klay is a great fit as a guy that doesn't need the ball to be effective and gives them both the spacing they'd need to run the offense. They could probably get Klay cheaper than PG which frees up money for other options
@@georgeelizondo3865 I see that. It probably doesn’t open up the money quite as much as we think because they probably still hit the 2nd apron but I think it would be fun to explore nonetheless!

Really hoping the clippers pull off a few sign and trades this offseason. PG to the warriors sounds interesting depending on what they got back, moody Jackson klay 🤷🏻♂️ heard Dallas too. Harden Lakers has come up and frankly if clippers some how got Austin and a pick out of it I’d be excited. But really they need to trade kawhi as well. With zero picks zero youth zero cap they needs to make a change. Idk what’s possible at this point.
Yeah it’s been a pretty disappointing run. I almost say run it back because it looks so bleak trying to rebuild 😅.
If it wasn’t for the picks sent to okc id say rebuild fully. For me this is the most frustrating team ever. They need a change top to bottom. If they somehow were able to bring in expiring contracts young talent and draft picks I’d be very happy. Especially since next offseason free agency is was deeper green this year. If they could create cap space and have young talent I think players would be interested in joining the clippers. That’s my hope. But this team it’s dead and all I see free clippers fans is to blow it up 🤷🏻♂️

As a fan from Charlotte, I'll admit it kind of hurts to hear the (justified) disdain you have for our franchise. 😅
You've got to understand that holding onto our promising new ownership and front office is all we can do to stay sane around here!
I suppose my question is: what will it take, in your opinion, for the Hornets to earn respect in the scene? Is it facility improvement, staff salary and respect, simply gaining more wins season over season, etc?
Ps: I genuinely think Paul George would fit perfectly into our starting roster and bring some much needed leadership to a young team that (new leadership notwithstanding) shows a lot of early promise.
This is a great question! They honestly just need to be more professional all around. It takes time to earn that respect so just doing the little things right like holding people accountable, having standards that need to be met, prioritizing internal growth will all lead to a more organized franchise.
Hopefully then in a year or two you have players and staff that buy in and execute that vision for you. After that, maybe now you have a culture that works and all the sudden you develop a big player! That player says “Yeah these guys gave me the situation to get here.” Word spreads and eventually people say oh these guys are turning it around. Could also be a HC that develops or something.
@@_AVC_ Thanks for the insight! I suppose it's a bit frustrating that there's nothing visible that fans will be able to observe in the short term, but I guess that's what being a fan is about haha. We don't need a perennial winner, but with any luck, we become a decently run franchise that can prove we belong and are worth celebrating in the league!
@@jovanbaslious For real! Honestly I love the city of Charlotte as well. I wish things were better there because it’s just not fun as a basketball fan to have franchises like this. I do hope change is on the horizon though!
