I love the energy and the vibe with dabbles of snark 😂 It cracks me up and gives me life! I kinda feel like there should be a VINTAGE "make-it-murder" SAL at some point that use the vintage patterns you're acquiring? The Cricket Collection Dickens made me squeal!! It is the BEST and one of my favorite quotes! If you ever come across the to-scale "Monopoly" board on cross stitch, let me know b/c I'd love to purchase that one. Or five goose patterns 😄 🎉
I’m pretty sure I stitched every Paula Vaughn ever done but where are they now? No idea ! Lots of back stitching and just the awful charting is what I remember from them. Beautiful when done though! Congratulations on your five thousand subbies! 🎉 You ladies deserve it! 😊 fiddlers cloth is about all we could buy back then and I stitched everything on it! It’s like an oatmeal color with little dark specs in it! Brings back memories with the afghans we used to stitch on! I’m so happy cross stitching has evolved!😮
Alison, I was so entertained when you pulled out Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May. I bought these kits back in the 80s. I finished her and dated her 1990. I started him but then life got in the way and they got put away in a trunk. I am 69 years old and last year I found a crossstitch book in a thrift store and found floss tube and away we go. I have pulled them back out and I almost have him done, they look great! Beware there are a lot of 1/4 and 3/4 stitches and a lot of backstitch. I stitch a different project each day of the week (7 WIPs) I only stitch on him on Sunday and should be done in November. I will tag your channel when I post them on Instagram. BTW your Lady of Liberty is gorgeous!!

I started watching at your third flosstube...and have not missed any since...but I don't always put those emojis on them just as I watch on my TV and have to switch to my phone...and I don't always get connected correctly (I'm hopeless) Just FYI Allison...I have THREE standards...one, my service partner, is 80 pounds, my middle is 65, the "puppy" , our rescue, is 55. He was sooo much work and is still a WIP...but he's so worth it. But...I found a new RUclipsr from Estonia... She's young...and she does HAED..FULL COVERAGE that are amazing!!! When. I can find her again... I'll send her name... because she is so nervous about doing her channel...but her work is outstanding.

I’m 68 so many of those “vintage” charts are from my early stitching days. 😂 I remember stitching little kitchen designs and putting them on wooden spoons and trimming them with tiny ric rac. Congratulations on your 5k subscribers and thank you for all your hard work. Your WIPs are great and I just want to encourage Allison to take a break and come back to hers. Your apple piece looks great. I love the blue fabric and the colors are beautiful. Usually when I get to the point that I just can't stand to stitch at all, I switch things up. I'll take a break and knit or crochet. I'll make a quilt or even get away from crafts and just read a few good books. It's okay to take a break for awhile. It's better to step back than to end up hating something that's supposed to bring you joy. That being said both of you have beautiful pieces and do a lovely job.

I did a Paula Vaugh back in my twenties than stopped stitching for 30 years, sadly I gave my beautiful piece to my ex-mother-in-law so who knows where it ended up. Happy Stitching, who knows if I hoarded all those older patterns if they traveled through moves some where or have been lost over time. No matter so much is out now having fun rediscovering it all.

I used so much on my daughters Angel quilt and love it. The beads look great on your lady. I usually reduce the number of beads on a project. So you can do that if it is really annoying you. All of those Marbek Angels I used on my daughter quilt. The Woodland angel is 1 of my favorites. I want to do her again for myself. OMG thank you for showing the Catch the wind pattern. I have been trying to find that pattern. I want to do that one as a tribute to myself and my sisters. Now I can get it. Five 🎉🎉🎉

🎉 I have been watching as I am stitching my one down and FIVE to go Christmas ornaments for family. Would you believe that my husband’s family doesn’t have ornaments for their trees. As a stitcher, I plan on remedying that over the next 20+ years. 🎉 I am doing the dated ones from Hoop Modern Stitch and found great ornaments at Dollar General I will be mounting them on. The ornament I bought to use as a mount has a glittery snowflake on one side and is plain on the back. :)

Several years ago I stitched two Paula Vaughn patterns from the Quits For All Seasons book. Warning....there are a lot of 1/2 stitches and back stitches!!! But they are beautiful and worth the effort!!! Love your videos!!! Congrats on five thousand!!!🎉
