@@TellyDan Where is the blacklight bleed visible? or do je mean the Halo effect with subtitles or so??? Maybe ik gonna switch from my Formovie Theater projector back to al big screen tv.
I got this model few days ago and unfortunately it has a lot of problems: even though gray uniformity is bearable, the backlight bleeding is visible, especially during gaming (visible vertical stripes). Local dimming is just awful and whem it's off you can clearly see ips glow in the edges. Sure, response time is good but you don't buy a tv with certain functionality just to turn it off. Way to pricey for its quality.
Is there noticeable bleeding for example around subtitles? Especially in game mode if local dimming gets back scaled or even turned off? If there is much bleeding is it even worse in game mode?
How does this compare to the QN95C? I was thinking about 65' QN95C but I can pick the 866RE 75' for the same price. I care about size, but I don't want to strip down too many features to go 75'.
Seriously considering this TV. TheMini LED being the best of both worlds. Almost at OLED level but no burn in anxiety.
No one really talks about these LG tvs much how good are they? Most people only talk about LG OLEDS. 😊
They're very good, there is backlight bleed but the same with all lcd tvs. They go super bright though

Lg mentioned that their 2023 minileds have 20 bit processing for improved shadow detail. Do you notice the improved shadow detail in dark scenes.

You can even see the vertical lines/stripes on this video when watching the football section in 4K quality
