- Das Bergische Straßenbahnmuseum in Wuppertal-Kohlfurth ist einer der kleinsten Straßenbahnbetriebe der Welt und wird ehrenamtlich von einem kleinen Verein betrieben.
Durch die immer weiter fortschreitenden Stilllegungen von Straßenbahnen wurde der Verein „Bergische Museumsbahnen e.V." gegründet. Einige Jahre später erwarb man ein Teil der Überland-Linie „Wuppertal-Solingen" und baute ein Betriebshofgelände nahe der Wupper, zur Sanierung und Ausstellung von Straßenbahnen.
Als dann 1989 wieder Fahrbetrieb möglich war, wurden immer mehr Fahrwagen zur Verfügung gestellt und zur Freude von jung und alt finden dort auch heute noch regelmäßig Fahrten durch das Kaltenbachtal statt.
The Bergisch Tramway Museum in Wuppertal-Kohlfurth is one of the smallest street railway companies in the world and is run by a small volunteer organization. By the ever progressive decommissioning of trams, the association "Bergische museum railways" was founded. Some years later, they purchased a portion of the overland line "Wuppertal-Solingen" and built a depot site near the Wupper, for the restoration and exhibition of trams. As in1989, driving was possible again, more carriages were always provided and to the delight of young and old will find still regularly rides through the Kaltenbachtal instead.

Hey Dirk ... Strassenbahnen gibt es bei uns keine ... und ich bekomme jedesmal Horrorzustände wenn ich so einem Ding in einer Stadt begegne ... dies Dinger können nicht ausweichen und auch nicht gescheit bremsen ... also sind sie besser in einem Musum aufgehoben.
Für die sportliche Leistung beim drehen des Videos bekommst Du einen extra Daumen OK ... echt abwechslungsreiche Aufnahmen ! LG " Eddy "
