AB, I am like you. I like preparing food for folk. It makes me happy. With one exception, I was never good at grilling. My friends would always grill and I would watch from the sidelines for fear of burning food. Thanks to you, I have become a GrillMaster with them. I can now grill all types of meat and chicken. I am one of the guys.. Thank you so much, AB. Simple is the best. This video is amazing. Your Grandma will be PROUD of you, man. Keep it real. I appreciate you very much! Happy 4th...

Dude - you always give such a relaxed, laid back vibe. I love it. You make all this grilling stuff seem so easy and relaxing. You've helped me calm down and just enjoy the process. Man for a while there I was all about getting the exact right temp and all that. Now I just chill and enjoy the cooking.....thanks!!
Your vids are such a welcome change from all the guys saying things like "you gotta use lump charcoal" or "used this brand or that brand" and then trashing the old stand by Kingsford. I love Kingsford briquettes and you're so right, Don't use lighter fluid. YUK! And all those matchless charcoals are just briquettes soaked in lighter fluid.
Recently I tried some B&B briquettes in the orange bag from Walmart. They're a tad larger than Kingsford, have ZERO lighter fluid on them and they tend to last a bit longer than Kingsford. But I'm new to this whole BBQ game, this is only my 2nd season, and soon, I'm gonna try to slow cook some ribs.
Thanks again for all you do to make this BBQ easy and fun!!

So, I just had to say, I followed his recipe for doing ribs in the oven and they were DELISH! I think mine must have been much smaller than his, because when I went to add the BBQ sauce for the last 5 min, the brown sugar & Dr Pepper had created its own sauce and I found I didn’t need to put them back in the oven because they were already perfect!
Will definitely do again, just may adjust my cooking times next time! 🫶
