It's-a me Megatron. Not to mention the gameplay itself. It’s the perfect balance of difficulty to make it feel like the stakes are at their highest, without leaving you to rage quit. And of course: FULL AFTERBURNER JOUSTING
Definitely my favorite but there are some that come close. "Fight with Seymour" from FFX. "Cyberdemon" from Doom 2016. "Saturos theme" from Golden Sun. "Final Battle" from Shadow of the Collosus.
Megalith was really cool, that moment with the birds and the lasers while it starts playing is even Keiki's favourite. But Zero really does stand out to me on a fundamental level, loving the "Sapinish" guitar since I was young.

Black, Knight of Soleanna first we need the remake of 2 as well as 6 ported and remastered (honestly getting these 2 off the 3ds and 360 would do them both a lot of favors for the newcomers 7 brought), a remake of 3 (and make it the actual AC3 this time instead of our “version”) and a PS2 trilogy remaster before we get AC8

The last battle in this game was an epic 1v1 dogfight in which you had to rush against each other, and the only way to deal demage was to attack the front, while dodging that one-hit kill laser, with this absolutely epic theme playing in the background. The entire reason for the war? Basically Seller's remorse over precious metals used for making aircraft.
Vincent Salinas-Piper which when combined with belka’s inlfluence on the wars since, especially regarding the zone of endless project and the constant devolopment of super weapons like the railgun from 6 to lead to more repurcussions. It caused what was originally a resource conflict gave way to the destruction of civilized government as we know it as 2 warring megacorps secretly control the world robocop style and will stop at nothing to see the other one gone from the picture for the sake of world domination. It makes Ionela’s speech at the end of 7 all the more tragic
As a years-long fan of the series, I'm both glad you finally did this song, and also pleasantly surprised you did it right - I've seen a few remixes that underplay the chorus and remove the acoustic guitar altogether, which utterly destroys the feel of the song. Good job, that was excellent.

Truth to be told, I don't like most "metal" remixes, and especially Ace Combat ones because they lack the soul that it originally has. But this one. This one hits the mark perfectly. I applaud GaMetal for maintaining the Ace Combat esssence of its orchestral sounds.

This was the game that more or less got me interested in ace combat even if I didn’t play it until years later where my interest in the series finally reached a tipping point and I bought the holy trilogy, assualt horizon legacy, and fires of liberation in one fell swoop while playing the fanslated electrosphere on my chipped ps1 to prep for skies unknown. I’ve always been into thematically unqiue stories of war. (other big exmaples of ones I like are fire emblem, trails/kiseki, and CoD until the golden age ended and the series became a shell of what it was) but the thing that makes the series standout from other war stories like the 3 I mentioned is that it’s not a JRPG, strategy game, or shooter, it’s basically after burner on steroids with an actual plot.

This was the game that more or less got me interested in ace combat even if I didn’t play it until years later where my interest in the series finally reached a tipping point and I bought the holy trilogy, assualt horizon legacy, and fires of liberation in one fell swoop while playing the fanslated electrosphere on my chipped ps1 to prep for skies unknown. I’ve always been into thematically unqiue stories of war. (other big exmaples of ones I like are fire emblem, trails/kiseki, and CoD until the golden age ended and the series became a shell of what it was) but the thing that makes the series standout from other war stories like the 3 I mentioned is that it’s not a JRPG, strategy game, or shooter, it’s basically after burner on steroids with an actual plot.
