I did construction for a few years too, in my early 20's I traveled in the 90's to resorts and worked/lived at them, such as The Casa Marina in Key West, Xanterra Parks Matzama Villages at Crater Lake, The Peaks At Telluride..and I loved it. Left those jobs foolishly for girls back then. Used my hospitality experience to get into working for Santander/Chrysler Capital Bank, right from construction and I actually loved getting paid decently w/bonuses, talking to people, dressing nice, having great benefits with plenty PTO, there were alot more benefits, life was good. I could buy whatever I wanted for the most part. I had to take a class for a month w/exams and pass missing only 3, alot of studying, there was a graduation party. Felt good. I lived and worked with a girl and we broke up after 12 yrs., which resulted in having to leave the job. Now I'm 54 and working fast paced production labor at a warehouse not even making half of what I made before. I AM getting into Sales, also studying marketing. ---> Any Advice or lead on where to start learning about computers/software? I've always never went after a job or career involving windows or other formats just because I felt I was too poor for schooling, and I didn't have the knowledge of computers to apply for/take a job or change my field of work. My sons funeral was today. He was 23 years old. Now i have a 10 month old grandson and a week old granddaughter who will never know him. from the first instance of the video i learnt that feelings cannot be taken as data, and that feelings are not data, but that feelings are an insight, and that you need to be informed to the extent of the ACTUAL DATA prior to being knowledgable, meaning that feelings is not knowledge but an indication of a deeper underlying phenomenon

The past leaves clues and patterns to learn from but TECHNOLOGY moves the present forward at light speed and you must become FUTURE FOCUSED with your MINDSETS and with upgraded SKILLSETS. Which also means you must be very INTENTIONAL on what and with who you spend your time to get up to speed on where things are going. Gretzy said that he used to; " Skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been" I've never forgotten that..and I suggest you don't as well.
