Thank you very much! Your video finally allowed me after three days, of trying to figure it out, to make contact and finally be able to talk with folks. Thank you! KK4ZMI
greetings,i just got one of these brand new in the box last night.i havent even set it up in the shack yet.just starting to read the manual.im sure this vid will come in helpful and i will have more questions soon.thanks for being there. 73,KB3YJO
Cool! I am waiting on my newly ordered 2900E - I imagined it with be very similar (I hope). When you add a tone to the frequency, and then save it to a channel, is that tone then permanently saved, along with the freq. for later use? Seemed like you "added it" as an afterthought, do you need to edit that, before u save? Thanks
I got to reading the instructions and said to hell with it and purchased the programing disk and put in my computer and now all I do is type in the frequencies and pl tones etc etc and i'm done in about 10 mins. Thought the programing disk was a little pricy however it eliminated a lot of stress - KIX4CD
1. Go to Memory Recall, press and hold D/MR(MW) key for one second. then rotate dial knob to select memory channel you want to delete. 2. Press the LOW(A/N) key momentarily. The CLEAR notation will appear on the display. 3. Press again the LOW(A/N) key momentarily. The previously selected memory will be deleted. Aaron, hope that helps...
Been awhile since I programed my radio. Forgot how to. Great video, very simple and easy to understand. Thanks....
