Basically what these 2 are saying is that if the market as it is now does not work for you, you should probably shot down your operation. Manufacturing is not going to pick up right away and th tarrifs are not going to help initially, hell it will worsen things further for truckers. The market should stabilize on the coming months but the new standard is goimg to be way worse than it used to be.
Trucking sucks. I'm with Otr. I tire of doing their job. They watch every single thing on paperwork, even before a broker can say something is wrong. So if you are not driving and checking your emails regularly(Which is dangerous)you won't know that they aren't going to factor a load for you,because they are not going to call you & give you a heads up,hell they could even text you and let you know something is wrong(They should look into doing that service). Now they charge $3 per ACH transaction and $14 a month for the fuel card when they used to be free. They say its to offset cost of the price of things going up........ Ummm what price went up for people sitting in offices???
Who else noticed that the name of the channel sounds out as “Truck NUH Hustle”? Because “N’” sounds out as “NUH”, not what the owner of the channel was probably intending to have it sound out as, “Truck EHN Hustle”, which can be spelled as “Truck ‘N Hustle”.

In western Utah just south of Moab on US-191, there’s a tourist stop called “Hole ‘N’ The Rock”, but the giant letters above the store there the name is spelled out as ‘Hole N”The Rock’. You can even see a pic of it using Google Maps! Just search for the name and click on the location marker for that place!
I may not be in the game yet but as long there is an Amazon or an EBay or a postal service etc, I refuse to believe that there’s no money in this line of work.
There is an effort to keep Americans out of the largest employer of middle class in our country. Get your own truck and you can clear over 1k/day after expenses. The path there is being hindered, but it’s still a realistic path.
Not going to clear 1000 a day after expenses now. Maybe a couple days a week you can do that, but have to do other things too. Expenses very high. 500 is doing good these days.
