My biggest concern is the hard angle at the end of the cable. It could result in a break and eventual failure of the cable. Any way to ease that, like making the end groove slope more towards the center would help. Otherwise, it looks great.
Are you planning to upload an STL of this file somewhere like Printables? Either way, it'd very much be worth it to do a version for a 3ft & a 6ft cable. 😁 Very nice design, my friend!
A good way to wrap a cable is to wrap it up normally but leave about two winding and then loop it around all the other windings and if done correctly it matches up pretty nice with both ends

seems like hes gonna sell it
@@5aForever seems like ima reverse engineer it
He wants money
If you do can you give me the stl@@XYZ-tv7kc
I think I saw it on one of the websites. Just take a look on Thangs, maybe youll find it.
Making them easily stackable is an idea

Very nice design, but it's going to be very dependent on cable length.
I'd buy the stl, have you thought about making it parametric for longer cables?
Imagine this with USB A cables of all types (mini, micro, C) as well
I’d definitely purchase the stl files to print myself since I’m in Australia I’d also like if you added options like usbc to lightning
Nice job dude!
There’s always those few cables that are 1.07 meters long that mess up the whole system.
That's really cool
Would you make the first channel slightly lower so the initial bend to start the wrap is gentler on the cable?
Is it possible to buy the file?
Can I buy the STL. Not to sell but cuz I want these
Make one that goes around an AirPods case
I'm trying to come up with something similar for instrument and microphone cables
I would be worried about braking the cable since there's no slack given to the cable
Can you make one for the magsafe cable that comes with MacBooks?
Tape...
Its only thing you need to pack a cable
If you need a print farm to produce them for you let me know 🤙🏽
stl?
19 for the stl 💀 really...
Me using Type A to Type C: 🥲
