I met him once in an airport,,,He stood there for quite a while talking with us, talking about our families, our lives, and taking a sincere interest. Nothing about him, he was just down to earth, and a super nice guy, not the loudmouth the media portrays him as.
Same here. Back in the early 90s. I was the only one in our group wondering who the long haired dude was up In first class in our plane from Dallas to Reno on the way to Lake Tahoe. I guessed Nugent and not one of the 10 guys I was with agreed. We get to luggage pickup and I approached him and asked if he was Ted Nugent and he said 24 hours a day all day long and commenced to act like I was his best friend. Nicest guy you will ever meet. All American.
I think he just gets worked up and understandably, when he’s talking about our rights and what the left is trying to do to them.

If he was as good for the outdoorsman as you say he would accept responsibility for doing something illegal instead sit there and cry about how others made him look bad. It reminds me of how all my neighbors still bait even though it's against the law. We don't decide the laws but to be a good example we must follow them. Yes there are alot of laws and as humans we make mistakes but we must accept our mistakes instead of cry wolf when confronted with them.

@@mountianfolks I enlisted in the USAF in December 1965 and volunteered for overseas duty. Earned the EOD badge and served in Vietnam after training at Eglin AFB. Honorable discharge in 1972. Service connected disabled and currently use the Dayton VA established by President Lincoln.

Trump can only pardon violations of Federal laws. That's why he is so afraid of charges he may face in New York state.

I met him once driving out in Concord Mi. The guys super down to earth and nice as all get out. Some celebrities don't give the common man the time of day, but it was like talking to my long lost uncle. He's a good guy in my book.

GW's were created to control hunters that would poach for commercial purposes. Selling our wildlife, depleting the wild game, and not paying taxes to the government. They, like most government institutions have overstepped their boundaries and spun out of control.
I know there are good ones and I support the common sense officers that are trying to do right. I've hunted and fished my entire life, Hunting Club member, and hunt numerous states. I hear very few people that have respect for them now because of thier over reach. Honestly, the majority hate them and these are people that have never received a ticket for any violations. People are sick of it and they deter a lot of people from enjoying the outdoors. I have a neighbor, hunted for years, and he says, "I used to love it young man but when they made everything illegal, I don't have the time to read all the new laws and regulations that change with the wind." They want your money. The states do not sincerely care about our wildlife, the hunters do.

On average 500 bills passed into law in each state per year, TN passed almost 3,000 in 1 year. At some point it becomes their responsibility to make these laws published to us so we can read them and understand them.

He makes a very convincing argument when at the end he said "How many people have been charged with that law?" "1 me" The law is for everyone and should be administered fairly and consistently. Neither happened in this case. So good to see videos like this out there for the public to see and make up their own minds.

Lol think that's crazy . I baught my deer license and tag at 11 a.m. on a friday morning. Baged ah beautiful 12 point 204 lb whitetail in tipton indian in my stand at 230 PM the same day .The conservation came to my parents house looking for me an hour after checking my buck in. Shove my father down on the floor by shoving the door in . No knocking. He went to meet them at the back door as he seen them pull up. Walked over him and searched the house took my guns , bow, ammo and made them call me to inform me there would be a warrent out for my arrest if I didnt meet them in a disclosed area. They try to say there was no way I harvested that buck in that amount of time. And that I had already shot it thee night before. After takeing them to thee pile of guts that were still warm. And then going to court dates for 3 years did I then receive a plea to plead guilty , I denied it. 3 more years went by 8 grand in lawyer fees , 6 years without being able to hunt with my then ageing father. Watching my beagles grow old without running them. I rabbit hunt also. But long story short . 6 years 12 grand and damaged guns is what it cost me to finally be taken up in front of a judge and be asked why I went through all this. That it was ridiculous on the conservation part and a not guilty verdict. Afterwards they interrupted my hunts every year for 4 or 5 years to just ask for proof of license . I live in a democratic county. And I swear thee only reason this got cleared up is it took so long they eventually by the grace of god elected a republican judge in thee end that actually hurried my case along. My father is gone now not too long after all this. And I want the 6-8 years back they stole from me, hunting with my father. I swear it's what killed him or helped anyways. The man tells a story and owns up to what he did. He has every right in the world to make a video and give his opinion to what happened after he made his mistake. He isn't stupid and would never intentionally break the law and then put the video out for everyone to see. I say go Ted and all of us that hunt have learned something watching this. I don't agree with hunting bears - there is no need to manage bear populations. That said, I'm good with Uncle Ted doing his thing and standing up for individual rights and freedoms.
This law CLEARLY MANDATES that if you shoot AT a game animal, and find a drop of blood, that 'your game tag is void'...do you know how many thousands EACH YEAR violate this with 'we searched for days, and never found him'? Only one person in history charged with violation of this 'law'? That is INSANE!
The only reason he is the only one punished under this law is that it's virtually impossible to catch someone who does it. He was unfortunate that he broadcast his mistake to millions. Stupid law. There should be common sense (and there probably would be if Ted wasn't the culprit).
Go to any tavern or restaurant in hunting season and you'll hear that same story from at least 10 people a year. Its hunting and it happens and is broadcast openly. Stupid law but proof positive if your against a certain political party and have clout they will come after you with everything they can.
This is the same way even us un-famous hunters and fishermen get treated. Ted is not the only person to have to pay for violating a law he did not know about.
