I have questions. If a private citizen works 10 to 12 hours are they allowed to park illegally? Why are the police above the law? They should lead by example and not by authority, that is the basics of good leadership skills! Then to give the person the middle finger shows that officer's disdain for the the private sector.
So what happens if they get a life and death call over the radio and they're now a 5 min run away from their car? Would you care if a firefighter or a paramedic did this? If you saw a nurse get a ticket for this I bet you would say she deserves a little more respect for what she does. Get over it. Some people have more important jobs and deserve a little more leniency.
There are two of them one waits in the car and the other gets the coffees, or better yet, maybe they should stay in shape so they can run faster or just plan breaks better usually when they are on a break they do not get calls!

The two police officers parked in an illegal parking zone and then flipped the middle finger after getting called out. Try doing that to a cop and see what they do. You’ll probably get a fine or get charged with disorderly conduct. It’s only illegal if they left their vehicle for more than 5 mins in a no park. The actual law states within the bylaw that there is a grace period with 5 mins within a no park for the purpose of activity off loading people or picking up merchandise. Think of it this way, your Uber eats driver parks in a no park to run in and get your food, then delivers that food to your door step. No different than any other vehicle or person leaving their car in a no park. It’s 5 mins and even parking officers have to actually give you 5 mins. American police illegally park all the time. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to a Walmart, where there are specific parking spaces reserved for police with a posted sign saying that the parking space is reserved for police, right at the front of the store, yet every single time they ever go to Walmart they park in the fire lane.
It must be so uncomfortable for that girl to work with those two numb skulls and be afraid to actually say what she thinks out of fear of losing her job. That poor lady!
Frank with his soft spoken passive-aggressive manipulation to find ways to disregard the police starting this issue with their idiotic decision to park where they did and lazily back-door into a prestigious coffee shop WHILE ON DUTY. They could have easily found creative ways to conduct a community patrol and add presence to an area while walking from further away from a legal parking spot and to the coffee shop. However, it is seen as unprofessional with them carrying out latés and frappés like this; putting themselves also in a venerable position while carrying this all out. All they had to do was get caffeine at a Tim's drive through. Or even call an Uber to pickup and deliver to their car; then run the plates on the uber guy to ensure he is operating a valid vehicle for his service and is the correct driver for said vehicle when it's known uber is at times having drivers who put in someone who isn't insured to drive that car. But of course Frank doesn't see things this way. Frank even thinks the police were blindsided here by being filmed. They are public service workers you twit! They are constantly in the public eye and film others with body cams doing the same thing with filming others at the blink of the eye to "catch them off guard". I was shocked the lady cop did that. Being as she is a professional no matter what in her position she should have handled it in a different way. Professionalism is not being taught anymore. I don't think there are any excuses for her behavior. You put new laws we all should follow them Police or not. They set the example. I understand it was a quick stop for coffee and parked anywhere they could, but wasn't that the reason for the new parking law. It is to stop people from parking anywhere. If it were a nurse and she/he did the same thing ..I would say the same..there should be no exception..the guy with the phone was good on calling that out. Definitely brings awareness to the new law . We should all follow it but nobody's perfect we all sneak in a quick parking spot but then again this why the new law wa was inforced. I don't want to point this out but It also looks like abuse of power. Police also set the example..by protecting us..and being the role models...this brings more faith in the police. So ya her behavior should not have happened.its a big WOW for me.

What a complete joke Franks opinion is here in his opening statement.
Frankie is a little guy and needs to make sure the po po helps when if he gets in a widdle trouble.
First off , the tone of the citizen ... oh okay ? Meanwhile the public is being taxed into the ground.
You guys forgot to mention the person who was filming was a retired police officer
...
He was only keeping his old colleagues to a higher standard
THEY DONT DESERVE RESPECT DUDE AND NEITHER ARE YOU. WE RESPECTED THE POLICE BEFORE TRUDEAU !
If you fined judges, cops,MPs, etc for their mistakes we would be free. Because no one would do the jobs. No more government. Freedom
NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW - INCLUDING THE POLICE. BT STAFF YOU ARE WRONG. I WAS ATTACKED BY A HOMELESS PERSON ON YONGE STREET - WHEN I CALLED 911, I WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES. SORRY THE TPS HAVE LOST RESPECT OF THE PUBLIC DUE TO THEIR PREVIOUS SCREW-UPS AND ACTIONS.
To become a police officer in Ontario you only take a 12 week course - that is WRONG. She is on a power trip - she was rude and demeaning to the man calling him BRO...she deserved to be called a PIG.
The guy filming was a retires cop himself, this was why he confronted them!
It doesn't matter whatever you people say, the police should respect the public and these officers should get a ticket for parking in the loading zone.
A cop flipping off a civilian isn't inappropriate. What is inappropriate are police officers that feel they are entitled to break the very laws they are employed to enforce. As for citizens questioning the police, since they work for the public and are paid by the public they are accountable to the public. Furthermore, since they are in a position of being at liberty to use deadly force they shouldn't be members of a union.
