Absolutely gorgeous force, that objective of the blokes cooking in the helmet is amazing!
Great use of mixed manufacturers. Difference in figure size still looks good on the table.
Cool! I'm just about "done" with my Winter Americans also. I went with mostly Airborne.
This is superb: without really looking for the height/size difference it doesn’t show, so nothing to worry about - great job!
Great looking army, inspiring!
Sharp looking winter American force Travis! I really like the winter effects.
Nice paintjob!
Great looking army! I would love a winter force, but that means I’ll need to get two so they can face each other
Yep. That’s what I have to do. Paint both sides for every theater we game.
Those look awesome.
Nice job on these Travis. I think the snow basing minimises the difference in height and build of the riflemen. I like the objective/jump off points.
Cool Combat Group 😍👍
Very nicely painted and put together 👏👏
Oh my goood! Awesome!I have a winter American forcein 1/72
Love the models! What ruleset are you using to play this army?
Chain of command and bolt action.
Weird enough, this is the army I'm just starting.
Me too!
@@TabletopCollective it has so much character
Watching this in 2024 - where there should be more winter US available !
Yeah warlord just came out with plastic winter US
@@tabletopcp ya!! I just got Battle of Bulge and got to this video after my extended research on how to paint things haha
Can you make a tutorial on how you did the winterizing?
I did make one. It’s for wi tee German infantry but the same technique. Check in the tutorials playlist.
@@tabletopcp thank you!
Ever plan on doing any painting videos?
Ive done a few. Not for the winter Americans though. I’ve done one for the winter Germans which goes over the weathering technique and one for the M10 which goes over winterizing vehicles.
Never completed Travis. What have you used for your snow? Nice jump off points, very creative!
Vallejo environmental snow base with a sprinkling of warlord snow powder to give it a bit of sparkle
Very cool. Somehow the algorithm threw me in here from Warhammer models. Throw an Emperial Guard in the unit just for me.
Maybe it’s the dice gods giving you a sign to get out while you still can 😄
