Real weird setlist, I love it. I was like 13 and my mom somehow figured out I liked TMBG (so did she when she was a child) and recorded this on a DVD off of DirecTV whatever thing, and I remember it was my ~way in~ to the TMBG bootleg scene, where you had to have something to offer to get something in return - me ripping huge and incomprehensible files of unfamiliar filetype off of a home-burned DVD-R to send to some guy I'd never met in Israel on AIM who said he would send me a show from the Apollo 18 in it. (In fairness I think he sent me like 5!) Thanks mom, thanks guy in Israel.
idk why i didn't see this comment till now. i got this special out of a dvd image that was shared around in bootleg circles, i wonder if it's the same one.
And here's one of these: 0:32 Los Angeles (Hollywood House Of Blues) 2:18 Experimental Film 5:37 Alphabet Of Nations 9:14 Doctor Worm 12:26 Memo To Human Resources 14:22 James K. (#rare) 1:12:46 Why Does The Sun Shine?
1:14:40 when they do Why Does the Sun Shine? live, do they still do that "the heat and light of the sun are caused by the nuclear reactions between hydrogen estrogen, carbon estrogen, nitrogen estrogen and helium with MORE estrogen" gag before the final chorus or is that phased out?
They should have done a concert filming like this in 2008 and 2009 to promote Here Comes the 123s and Here Comes Science, their other two Disney albums when they were released
Someone needs to upload the FULL uncut concert The first set of Venue Songs in its entirety hosted by Andy Richters The second set which is missing: Stompy Intro Dallas Trees reprise Darn Good Times Drink! Older
Since when did Disney get the rights for TMBG's adults songs (including their greatest smash hit of all time "Birdhouse In Your Souls" from the Flood 1990 album)? I thought Disney only got the rights for TMBG to make preschool children's albums!
This concert should have also aired on Disney Channel in the 8:00pm-9:30pm timeslot as one of the primetime Playhouse Disney "Super Duper Special Events" broadcasts because it plays an alternate Disney Sound logo and shows the Walt Disney Records copyright stamp at the end of the credits
How come they don't show the full music videos for the ABCs songs? Shouldn't they do it in split screen with the concert footage on the left and the music video on the right when performing the songs from said album?
really normal comment section on this one we love to see it
ESTROGEN!
