    I don't know anything about video editing but this boggles my mind. It must have taken hours upon hours to get this 30 second clip done. And the information that goes with it- beautiful.

    Are you able to explain the difference between convection bake and air frying? I'm just curious because the Breville Smart Ovens boast both these functions but I'm having trouble understanding how the airfryer function is any different from convection baking.

    So where does the moisture go?

      There is a vent on the back, at about the height of the heating elements that allows air exchange.

      Great thanks.
      The GE oven I just got is an air fryer. It will be interesting to see how well it works.

    So it isn’t just a glorified tabletop convention oven?

      I am not a huge fan of the air fryer but it really does better job at crisping up food than regular oven.

      Basically yes, but it's faster and more efficient than a standard convection oven. It makes total sense as an appliance even if you already own a convection oven.

      Yup, which is exactly why it’s so good

      It circulates air more than 10 times the rate of an ordinary convection oven.

    • @stickychocolate8155
      @stickychocolate8155 Месяц назад

      False. If you watch the full video he explains how convection ovens (not conventional, which is what you said but I assume you meant convection - the oven with a fan) do not circulate the air from top to bottom as shown in this short. Also, most oven roasts rely on some kind of roasting tray or pan, which prevents the bottom of your food from getting any kind of air circulation and traps steam. The air fryer basket includes ventilation holes for this purpose.

    Hence the name “air fryer”!
