First video of 2022! After a memorable few days in Louisiana, it's time to head back north. Today we're back on the United A319, one of the smallest mainline jets in United's fleet. Not only will you get a full review of the A319 economy class, but also a quick look at New Orleans Airport's new passenger terminal! The new facility opened up in late 2019, so it's been around for a while, however it's a welcome upgrade from the 60 year-old terminal it's replacing. This was a nice morning flight back to Chicago with great views all the way. I hope you enjoy this video and stay tuned for more.

Date of Travel: December 19th, 2021
Airline: United Airlines

Route: New Orleans Armstrong, LA to Chicago O'Hare, IL
Duration: 2h 5min

IMPROVEMENTS: Adding power outlets will make the economy product on United's A319 and A320 that much better especially for the longer five to six hour flights these planes may be used for. Otherwise no complaints!

Fantastic video 👍🏼❤️✈️
Thanks for this detailed great post 👍
Another great trip report. Sensational and detailed as always.
Great trip report like always bro! Nice shots of the new MSY! I definitely gotta check it out soon.
Fantastic Review man! Glad that you enjoyed your flight on United on both trips
Terrific video! Terrific trip report!
Great trip report as always! Can't wait to visit the new terminal at MSY!
Thank you dude! You absolutely must.
6:17 I had no idea of that fact. Great review!
I flew this route once when I had a holiday in America. Flew all around North America and I flew this flight with united. Great report too! Interesting to see how much united has changed since I flew with them.
Oh wow nice! Hope you had a good time in the USA. Thanks for watching mate.
@@ASAviation I certainly did! Thanks very much :)
Great report man! Guess what!?...Phoenix *just* released the Saudia 777-300er in the retro livery! I'll see, if Saudia won't change the livery after a short time, then I'll definitely order it! They even released Cathay Pacific 748f's. BTW, after watching this video, my love for the A319 rised that now I love it more than the A320! Or let's just say I love both ;)
Great video! Yey train videos are back!
Thanks! Trains always have a special place in my heart.
so cool
Awesome 👌
Awesome trip report video! I really enjoyed it! Hopefully the new seat back entertainment systems that United is going to install on their narrow body airplanes won’t include power boxes that restrict legroom.
Crazy you upload this now, gonna be on their A319 from SAT - IAD on Saturday then connect to Philly. Nice video 👍🏾
Oh awesome!! Hope you’ll have a great trip.
My Parents flew to MSY in November 2019 and sent a video from that exact location in the new terminal (In the check-in area)
Awesome. It’s a really cool terminal!
@@ASAviation that's not a Airport. That's a Mall. Kinda like Phenix sky Harbor airport. It Resembles a Mall. Lol 😆😆
You’re one 😎 cool dude!!
Awesome video and conclusion. I have a part 1 and 2 video of the City of New Orleans!!!!
Thank you! I believe I’ve seen it. Such a cool train, I took it to/from Chicago in 2018 but those videos are a little ways back on my channel.
@@ASAviation gotcha. I believe I saw them too!
Big UA fan. My hometown carrier. First flight was on a DC-8 73 in 1983 ORD-SFO. Been hooked ever since. Looking forward to my flight on their MAX 9 next month. Enjoy your videos. Fellow Illinois-an.
Wow what a time that was to fly! United is probably my airline of choice when flying from O’Hare, I honestly prefer them over AA. Thanks for watching!!
Awesome
Thank you bro. Insha’Allah I will be coming to Karachi on early Saturday morning, just need to get my Covid test done before departure. Insha’Allah it goes well.
@@ASAviation InShaAllah all will go well
@@ASAviation Really WOW
Definitely seat back. I live in Chicago (wow what a coincidence) and I’m going to Texas. I’m a bit sad that they don’t have their own screens because I’m probably not going to buy the WiFi. So I guess I’ll just be listening to some music I’ve downloaded on my phone for probably the entire 3 hour flight.
Yes I’m flying on the a319
Great Trip report! I actually flew this aircraft from DEN-PHX On December 21st!
Wow no kidding!
@@ASAviation Yep!
Seat back entertainment
I love to fly the Babybus. Flew its Duluth- Chicago
Also AS One question so when you guys landed in Chicago do you guys fly to CMI Or drive back home?
Great question. My dad lives in Rockford due to his job so most times we head over there (only an hour drive) and then head back to Champaign the day after or something. That day though we drove straight back to Champaign. We drive because flying is expensive, also I’d make videos on the flights most likely 😂
@@ASAviation Ohh ok now I know thanks for the info 😂😄
✈
Hi, do you think a 6-6 person will feel comfortable in Economy seat?
When is your next Lahore Airport update?
Why are the spoilers still deployed while taxiing?
Did ups bring their 747 to ORD
NOLA!!
In your opinion, has United Airlines always been a better airline than American despite the passenger incident 5 years ago?
Amazing trip report mate!! If Im not wrong United took some former shaheen a319s right?
Thanks mate and sorry for the late reply! United is going to take them, but they haven’t inducted them into the fleet yet from what I know.
Can you go to MHT please?
Hopefully someday.
