  • 🎸 What's up peeps?
We've finally hit the end of the road with the $20 Tele project. It's been a wild ride, from a beat-up marketplace find to something I'm actually proud to call a gem. Welcome to the last episode of our little adventure.
    Part 1 here: • $20 Marketplace Wreck ...
    Part 2 here: • $20 Marketplace Wreck ...
    🔧 Today's the Day:
All the work on the neck and the body is coming together now.
And yes, you'll get to hear it. It's awesome, and I can't wait to see what you think.
💡 So, What Was All This About?
I dug into a guitar that most would've walked past. From tearing it down to giving the neck and body some serious TLC, it's been about showing what's possible with a bit of effort and a lot of love. It's been as much about the journey as the destination - showing off some serious DIY guitar modding along the way.
    👀 Reflecting and Moving Forward:
I've got to say, seeing where we started and where we've ended up has been pretty cool. And I've loved having you all along for the ride. Your support, your comments, your likes - they've made this all the more rewarding.

Awesome 3 video restoration story! 👍🥰
Cool, song at the end, but if you do t mind me making a suggestion; it woukd have been great to hear some natural tones from the guitar.
During the 3 videos I was wondering how this was going to sound with that hollow body and those pickups etc. Even just a couple of clean chords on each pickup setting and maybe a diddly scale really lets the viewer imagine the guitar and what it is and how it sounds (in case we were lucky enough to ever own one like it). 🙂

    • @RisingSunGuitarMods
      @RisingSunGuitarMods  5 месяцев назад +4

Yep I agree. I’m not a great player and get a bit of the old RUclips stage fright due to there being so many good guitarist on the channel. But I agree I reckon it needs a tone demo. I’ll put it in the next video as a bonus. Keep a look out. ✌️🤘🏼

@@RisingSunGuitarMods yeah your playing doesnt suck. Nothing to be ashamed about being an intermediate guitar player.
Some of the best songs in the world, the guys in the band were intermediate guitar players. 👍
If you are demo-ing a guitar just some clean chords G D E Am etc for each pickup, maybe with some softer strums and harder strums to demo the pickup dynamics.
And a bluesy driver slightly dirty sound, you can just do a power chord blues shuffle A D E, again with some harder and softer picking.
Anyway your videos are great and thanks for responding. 👍🙂

Thanks man, I appreciate your support bro, means a lot. I was actually just around at a friend's house and we were comparing it to his USA tele, we both liked the neck on this one better. Might be due to the amount of time I spend rolling the fingerboard, reshaping the back of the neck and rounding all the fret ends, but she definitely stacks up and beyond as far as feel goes. Hard to compare sound as very different pickups, but I can confirm it hauls arse through an orange valve amp. ✌
