That was such a tight game! Really loved how both of you worked your battle lines throughout the battle. As always a beautifully executed crafty terrain battle report
lovely batrep as always! love seeing those clones coming together! :D also love seeing so many battle droids on the table, especially with those tanks as well. keep it up!
Love seeing those tactical batreps, although it wasn't too much action, really nice to see the movements and tactics from each side to try getting that liiittle advantage.
Hi Aldo, glad you enjoyed. Yeh, a gun line battle isn't always the most action packed. You're total right, when the say it's about squeezing out the small advantages to try and gain the win.
I like that double tank/Bossk list! Have you considered dropping aggressive tactics and prepared supplies on the T-series for a PK droid and electro binoculars? I think the PK will do about as much defensive work for the tank as the surges do, and Bossk really sings when he gets extra aims from spotter!
Hi Nathan, that's not something I had considered, but I like it. Total agree Bossk is great with extra aims and the PK droid for the AG might work out ok. Definitely food for thought and thank's for the great comment 👍.
Hi buddy, it was a defensive and cagey game. Where the smallest of mistakes will cost you the victory, these types do make for a intense game of Legion. I was shattered at the end 🤣.
I think in this case it was because he could still get essentially full order control with Standing Orders and guarantee that he moved last so one of his hard hitting units could wait until its choice of target had moved into range.
Hi Daniel, basically I don't want to win priority and the opening card from Anikin is normal the 3pip, standing orders lets me go last with one of my AATs. Also lets me keep Assault for later in the game, if I need it.
So the game was good but there were definitely a few things that were done wrong 1. Turn 5 you couldn't have done move standby with the tanks. You didn't have an order and you have AI Attack so first action needed to be attack and you were definitely in range to have to attack. Same with turn 6 you needed to shoot first then move. 2. The tanks only get cover if they are at least 50% obscured so im not sure that tank that was getting shot constantly should have been getting cover. 3. Fire supporting doesn't mean you count as less activations to be able to pass. You each technically still had 9 acts a piece at the start of the round I only just found the channel so I am not sure how new to the game you guys are but those are just things I noticed
Hi Collin, Thank's for the feed back, it's much appreciated, we're keen to improve and learn and comments like this definitely help. Great call on the AI for the tank we both completely missed that one. I'm aware of the 50% cover rule for veichels and I can't remember if it was or wasn't now. The do think we played the pass correctly, the pass mechanic is a constant check on activation count, so a fire support in the middle of a turn will impact on if a player can pass or not. Hope you're enjoying the channel 👍
@Crafty Terrain I just rechecked the pass rule and you are correct. After reading it again it states Faceup order tokens and orders in your order pool. My playgroup and I has always interpreted it as a check at the start of the round. Apologies for thinking otherwise.
@@atrouserbomb No need to apologise buddy, Legions a deep game with many rules, it's difficult to interpret them all correctly and then remember all the small in game interactions for each rule. I'm gald we could help each other out 👍
They're ideal if your opponent is playing something like Clones where every activation is expensive and needs to get high value every turn. B1s are a very low value target to shoot at.
Sorry guys but quite boring. Gun line on gun line, I'm just watching people roll dice and hide units. It might be a close game but it's not exciting. Sorry, just an honest opinion.
Hi Pillip, I completely understand your opinion and would tend to agree, gun line vs gun line might not be the most entertaining and not to everybody's taste but they're a part of Legion and not to feature them on the channel wouldn't give people a true reflection of list building and the game in general. Managing and understanding range control with a gun line is a difficult skill and one I definitely need to improve but hopefully this battle rep goes someway to help people understand gun line play.
@@CraftyTerrain Yeah, I get that, I'm sure it was a fun game to play too. I love the videos, just found this one a bit uneventful. Also 48:12 shouldn't the clone shot remove the standby on the AAT?
@@phillipedwards307 Not a problem buddy, glad you're enjoying the videos and we appreciate the support. Standby tokens only get stripped if the unit takes a suppression or is made to make a move, like with Force push for example.

Thank's Ghillie, glad you enjoyed. Nice having a good old Colne Wars era style battle on the channel.
The another great play! I love the way you play. You play for win and not to just shoot.
Hi Jakub, glad you enjoyed. We do try to play the objective game for the win. This was a close game and could of gone either way.
Awesome game guys!! Love these reports!

This looks sick, you guys have an amazing setup 🔥🔥
Thank's for the great comment Patrick, we do take pride in having nice terrain on our tables. Glad you're enjoying the videos buddy 👍
Bossk has Sharpshooter 1. You rerolled a hit on that last round for no reason when you had 2 hit and a crit.
Hi Zeromus, forgive if I'm incorrect, did Bossk have Sharpshooter from his 3 pip and I missed it ? Bossk doesn't natively have sharpshooter.
That was an intense game. Loved it! Thanks a bunch

where do u get your card holders

I never understand the Standing Orders play on Turn One. Playing Assault gets you 3x the order power.

b1 are just such squishy useless units in almost all cases..

They definitely are squishy and depend on heavy cover. Very thematic to the Clone Wars tv show 🤣.
