  • A look at the life, career and legacy of the pioneering newsman and PBS anchor who passed away today in Manhattan. Includes interview with Judy Woodruff and former colleagues. One of Canada's finest journalists who honed his skills with the BBC before joining PBS. 🇨🇦 RIP, Robin.

Our condolences and sympathies to the family, friends, and co-workers of Robert MacNeil. PBS Newshour's journalistic integrity and excellence contributes much to our lives in the United States, mostly due to MacNeil & Lehrer. So much of my world perspective came from watching PBS' MacNeil/Lehrer Newshour for so long as a young person. My thanks.
