That’s my old plane!! We bought out in Texas and brought her to Georgia. We sold it to a friend and I believe he sold it to you! She looks great!!

This video is the definition of EXCELLENCE! Thank you for taking the time to present this. The color scheme on your Cherokee is awesome.

Incredible balance between “thorough enough” to convey the essentials & “succinct enough” to maintain interest. Wonderful for basic familiarization as I transition out of 172 into Cherokee. Thanks so much!

In the mid-1970’s, I used to fly a 1972 Cherokee Arrow II that had 200 horsepower, constant speed prop, and retracts. It wasn’t quite as fast as a Bonanza, but it was a great-flying plane. I sure miss it..

Holy cow! This should be mandatory for anyone flying a piper for the first time or any other single engine. Great job explaining everything. I have been flying for several years and learned stuff on this video. Great job!

FYI - you need choke rings on all USB cords you're using in the aircraft. Still, that cheap USB charger may interfere with your radios. As a fairly new Piper owner, this video was very helpful! ~thanks!

sry but I really had to laugh watching this video. Pilots know every rivet and screw of their airplane by name but when they sit in their car they barely know how to turn on the fog lamp 😂 Love this walk around :D that was extensive, I mean, impressive how much you can talk about a Cherokee after all. Great vid! :D

This has been a GREAT video. I really enjoyed this even more that I am thinking about getting this same make of aircraft. Thank you so much.

Your airplane is so nice and clean. can you see out of the tinted windows? How do you like them and what are the characteristics. I also like the little clamp you added on the side to help hold your headphone cards / box

Yes, I am flying the same aircraft and I do have to put a bit more force in the Flare. I try to put in some trim to help me flare smoothly. It does feel a little heavy flying. So maybe the weight in the back helps it be more balanced. I rent many different aircraft Piper aircraft, 140 or 180.

I agree with you, trimming nose up helps a lot with the flare. There is a particular Cherokee in my school that is heavier from the nose than the others, is very clever to put the ballast weight in the back 🤔

THANKS FOR THE WALK THROUGH. WE NEED MORE BELOVED PILOTS TO GIVE SNAPSHOTS OF THE AVIATION WORLD TO THESE YOUNG MILLENIALS, AND HOPEFULLY DETER THEM FROM, DRUGS, OPIATES, FENTANYL, CRIMES, GANGS, AND VIOLENCE. LETS HELP ALTER THE YOUNGER GENERATION OFF OF THESE DEADLY VICES.

If it's 110 on the runway hold short, I am not going up. This pilot will get to hot and I am sure the air cooled engine will thank me. I have temperature minimums. Not flying above 93 degrees F.
