This is a new tour by Xcaret called Xailing. On this tour you leave from Cancun and sail on a catamaran over to Isla Mujeres. On this tour you will have an opportunity to snorkel the El Mecco Reef just off the coast. Here you can see corals, fish, and even some statues that we placed there. Afterward, with the prime tour, you go to a quiet beach club in the south end of the island. It is a beautiful location and worth the trip alone. Here you will be treated to a reginal buffet and time to relax on the beach or the pool. After the rest and meal, it is on to the north end of Isla Mujeres where the main town is. On this part of the tour, you have free time to walk around, relax on a beach or rent a golf cart and go around the island.
One of the things we like about this tour is the fact you can extend you time on Isla Mujeres and take one of Xcaret's ferries back. We also like the free entry to the Scenic Tower in Cancun (see details in our article).
If this tour looks good to you, our best recommendation is booking at least 21 days in advance to get the largest discount possible. If you are thinking about another one of Xcaret's parks, think about a package of tours from Xcaret to save more. Out article has the link to the official booking page of Xcaret. These links are affiliate links and if you use them, it helps us keep coving places of interest in the Riviera Maya for your next vacation.
do you recommend any tours for el cielo in cozumel?
I’m going here in April and am very concerned with being sea sick. Would you say there’s a lot of rocking or stopping of the catamaran? Or majority of the trip is constant movement
This is a good question. Since the boat is open and you have a lot of fresh air, you are less likely to feel sick. You are also sailing pretty calm waters between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. When you do get in the water to snorkel, there are currents and undulations, but when you are in the water you don't feel it that much. The boats are also wide and make for smoother sailing. We have been on the catamarans coming out of Puerta Aventuras and sometimes the exit into the ocean can be wavy and you might feel it for a few minutes, but it smooths out. We have also taken a small boat out to see the whale sharks, that was borderline, because you are in a small boat and are going out much further into open ocean. For this tour, it is very minimal and only a windy day might it be a little motion to contend with.
wich is the name of the tours or agency?
