She’s loving her baby so much she don’t know how else to hug her she holding her so tight Some human Females have alot they could learn from This Mom ❤️😘
You got that right.
You're aware humans are animals and you're also aware that animals have the ability to be crappy mother too?
If your answer is "yes" then leave this ham-handed crap in the corner.
@@blobbertmcblob4888 it wasn't that serious calm down
@@blobbertmcblob4888 what's with the anger, she's saying the truth! And sounds like you hate animals! Put that in your book!
Even more so human fathers.
That was about the sweetest, most tender show of love and elation I have ever seen. I've been watching a lot of these kinds of videos in quarantine and have become so fascinated with these gentle giants...but this one moved me even more than the others. It was like she couldn't contain her joy. Most of the gorilla moms use one arm to hold the newborn and the other to eat, balance. But this mom kept embracing her baby with both arms. It was a joy to experience these tender moments of a mama bursting with love!!❤🥰
Zgadzam się, Opieka tej samicy poruszy każde serce ludzkie gdy zrozumie jak mocno zwierzęta potrafią kochać swoje dzieci.
The baby was dying.
This Momma is so In Love with her baby! Sweet to watch!
I know right🥰 What a good Mama she is!!!! She can’t stop looking at baby and kissing and hugging the baby. So precious💗💗 I wonder if this is her first baby?? I would say probably only because it says in the description that this is the first gorilla born at the zoo in 24 years. She’s a natural though. I suppose that instinct just takes over. It’s amazing how gentle she is with the baby. She is definitely soooo in love with him or her lol
Her infant here sadly passed away a week later....
@Pute de luxe what a horrible thing to say. Why come her and be so nasty. Go away.

Ohhhhhhh the loss of this precious little baby is so devastating. You can just see and feel how much Tumani loved her baby. These creatures are so incredibly beautiful and loyal and they feel emotions the same way we do. I can't imagine how sad she is and I hope she has another chance to be a mother. 😪♥️
She was just as capable of smashing her baby's head into the ground. Stop acting like animals have more compassion than humans do, humans ARE animals.
@@blobbertmcblob4888 shut up and go away. Maybe learn to read while you're at it. I didn't say they had more compassion than humans. I said they are capable of the same emotions we are. Take your nasty comments somewhere else, I'm not interested.
@blobbertmcblob4888 OK blob, you're blubbering. Go away
Was just so happy to see this wonderful sight. The mom was smiling, I swear. Then I saw that the baby didn’t make it. It’s heartbreaking,I will actually pray for this mom . She showed so much love and tenderness to her baby , she will be grieving.
Not only grieving the loss of her baby, but she will probably demoted within the troop. Sad all around.
Awww I am crying...such a momma😭😭she so loving her baby.... that's a momma..Please don't separate her from her baby😭😭😭😭
The zoo"s negligence let the baby die!!!
Yep. The baby died today. The zoo people swear they know best but are clueless
@@chuckles784 whaaat how why
@@chuckles784 don't be so hard on the zoo. What do you know? Tumani did receive prenatal training on breastfeeding & offering her shoulder for an injection if staff needed to sedate her & get the baby. Unfortunately Tumani didn't cooperate. They had to use a dart. When they were finally able to get the baby it was too late.
What would you have done?
The mother wasn’t letting the baby nurse, they watched but did nothing because they didn’t understand. Baby gorilla don’t cry unless they’re starving to death.
Now, I read down further and see that the baby has died 😢. I am heartbroken for this mother gorilla. As much love and affection as she had, I know she must grieve.
Awww .noooo 🐵 .😿 thats awful & ofcourse they know .they tremendous bonds w humans as well .thats very sad .
😢
I could see it wasn't suckling or rooting or clinging at all. You can tell the baby is very weak.
Oh nooo! Qué tristeza!!😭😭😭
@Magno Avatar sorry to say SHUT UP! They don't know 100% of human DNA yet. How can they draw a comparison between them?
Não existe ligação mais forte na vida do que entre a mãe e os filhos
É o que chamamos de amor incondicional
Never seen a gorilla so happy. She can't get enough of her baby. Probably wakes it up when it's sleeping so they can play.
Такая большая мама,так нежно любит свое дитя,свое маленькое сокровище.
This mom is just so amazing. Gorilla moms are fierce, protective and hold on to baby 24/7. I love to see them pat their baby or use their thumb to rub baby's back. They are so attentive and gentle.
She loved her baby so much she smothered baby - the baby died.. It happens.✌️
Tumani is in love with her precious newborn. So much care, love and devotion in the way she hugs and kisses her baby. True beauty.
So sad to hear the baby didn’t make it.
Thanks for sharing this! Very obvious that Mama is very protective of her baby and is totally in love with it ❤. I hope that the zoo will allow the baby to stay with Mama.
It depends on its gender. If it's a boy, it will have to be sent away in 12-15 years otherwise it will start fighting and challenging its own father. Even the girls leave the natal group to have families of their own with lone silver backs between 8 and 11 years of age. (They hit puberty far earlier than humans). That is likely what will happen if it's a girl. She'll be moved with a silver back and other females in the future. It has to be done, just like human kids have to leave the nest eventually, so do gorillas.
Fat chance - why don't people just leave animals alone in their natural environments to live out their natural lives and relationships whether 'endangered species' or not. We do not have the right to keep animals captive in this way.
@@robyndaniels1381 i live here in NOLA, and my Husband just told me it died 2 days later. Im going to try to find a story about it.
@@robyndaniels1381 And tell me, how do we protect them from othe human's? Doesn't the fact that every day they are slaughtered by HUMAN'S so much they are extremely endangered show they need protection? Or how about their natural habitat being depleted at allarming rates? Where do they go to get away from human's? So what are you going to do about it? It's easy for you to make grand pronouncements when you are looking at a video. Maybe you need to think about the animal. What happens when they are all gone and all we have left are platitudes.
@@marshamoore8385 I'm just saying we need to leave animals and their habitats the hell alone. Species go extinct every day - it is part of life/evolution. I do believe eventually humans will also go extinct in a couple of hundred more years when they have destroyed everything that should sustain them - and then the world will recover and be a better place without humans. I am doing my bit by living vegan and encouraging others to do the same and not exploit or interfer in other animals lives at all. Animals are here with us not for us and I am only a single person doing what I can to not harm them.
This momma is sOooo in love with her new blessing! I love how she can't stop cuddling her❤️❤️
So adorable
I’m so sad to learn that the baby died only 6 days after birth. Hope Tumani will soon get another baby that will be strong and healthy and bring her a lot of joy. It’s clear that she’s a loving and caring mother.
She is a very loving mom.
Sweetest Mother I've ever seen! Bless her heart!!
This was so great to see. The way she consoled her baby. Loved it and that Silverback was and is so amazing to look at. He looked so big and regaled. Love the gorillas
The baby is so tiny. You can see how much the mama loves her baby.
She is a great Mother...so protective of her baby. Cuddles it close for warmth and feeding. Gorilla mothers are far better Mothers than humans.

Such a great mom. Loved watching her gentleness with her baby
What a beautiful and innocent sight to witness. I agree with the other comments, this momma can teach people how to truly love their babies. Rest in peace little one. 🙏
Какое трогательное видео, мама с малышом, супер! 🦍
I work in labor and delivery/NICU for human babies. Just from this video I can tell baby looks lethargic and there is some disconnect with feeding. She isn’t feeding in response to the baby’s cues. Feel so bad for her, poor mama. Also I wonder, is it normal for them to roll around and hold the baby that tight?
The mother wasn't lactating correctly and the baby sadly died as a result.
Not a freak occurance, just something that happens.
William Smith I’m so sad they weren’t able to intervene with a formula in time but yes this happens sometimes
I think she knows the baby is weak, and feeding is not happening.
degenerati she knows hence why she supports the head
No she binding the baby so the people won't take her babies she not a first time mom check the video again
Aww the way mama hugs her and holds her so tightly. So sweet ❤

Poor things. The baby appeared to be sucking at mom's lips. Maybe she, despite all the prep taught to her, just didn't know what to do. Hopefully next time will be different. It would be nice to see an explanation from the zoo posted.

Oh wow .. she’s so gentle with her baby .. Amazing love ❤️
Never been a big fan of zoos or circus's but in the last 6 to 8 yrs ive come to realise that to protect an endangered species, zoos are the only alternative
Seeing these magnificent Lowland & mountain Gorillas & their now serious depletion of numbers, threatening extinction im very happy there are responsible zoos who take extraordinary care & attention of their Gorilla guests
My love of most Gorilla species has never wavered & as parents particularly mothers, they are so wonderfully loving & protective of their babies
Ive watched mum gorillas prop their baby up in front of their faces & really look into the little ones eyes with so much love it makes me feel as a mum a tremendous sense of understanding & genuine care & love these gorillas mums show to their babies, its so heart warming & of all the primates id vote the Gorilla family the best at parenting
Im so sad the plight for continued existance in the wild & natural habitat for Gorillas is so endangered now & the only way to keep this magnificent animal primate still existant, is in Zoos
Ive been so greatly surprised at how good, really good zoos are at providing happy & as natural as possible environments for my lovely gorilla families i watch daily, the zoos in Japan & the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium & many marvellous American zoos & in my country of England, so much care & attention its so heartening we care so much for the survival and continuation of these amazing creatures
Thank you, this is a short film clip but its huge where this love & care of the baby by its mum is just fantastic to witness.
Just bloody marvellous
Many many thanks 👧🇬🇧
That is the most loving mama ever.

Aaaa this was super adorable. She is a great mommy!
Aint no one getting near my beautiful little baby 🦥
U the only one see that tumani is binding so they won't still it
How precious, what a horrible thought that they would be separated.
Why would they take it away? Unless its health is compromised and it needs human intervention or the mother rejects it, gorillas tend to stay with their families until "adulthood". For girls, 10-12 years of age is when they're ready to begin families of their own.....and for boys, it can be 11-14 years of age. They will be moved at those stages because that is what would happen in the wild. But, they wouldn't take the baby away for no reason. Gorillas are social creatures with strong family bonds. The zoo understands that, I'm sure.
It doesn't matter anymore. The negligent staff and veterinarians let a perfectly healthy newborn starve to death or die of dehydration because the "lack of lactation." There are drugs to stimulate milk production, bottle feeding, supplementing, but to let the baby just die...appalling!
@@chuckles784 The baby gorilla was feeding, and the zoo doesn't know exactly why it died. The lactation theory was just that, a theory. Let them do their job and determine the official cause of death.
she Knew the infant wasn't GONNA make it.. Bitter sweet but amazing how alike we are through Emotion
