It looks like the rucksack hangs too low from the shoulders, it should sit somewhat higher so that the topstraps go down from the sack to the shoulders (at a 30 degrees angle).
The slider for the load lifter straps was too far back, they should be positioned just above the collar bone so you get a good angle; 45° is ideal but not always possible on smaller rucks.
Frustrated to hell with Go Outdoors, absolutely no help at all buying a rucksack, I purchased three and ended taking them all back because they were either too small, too big or the OEX poor build/seriously uncomfortable. I ended buying (by mistake!!) an Osprey Ren - a ladies backpack, not one person on the checkout told me it was gender specific. Anyway - the pack fits my 5' 5" frame and is very comfortable.
I had the exact same experience with Go Outdoors today 17/08/2021 they offer no help at all, and are too busy walking around the store chatting to each other, the ruck sack displays are all very disarrayed, no one cares. I was in the Liverpool store.

A really good and detailed explanation. Thanks.
I worked in a go outdoors. None of the staff (myself included) knew the first thing about being outdoors 🤣🤣
Good informative and easy to follow, nice one mate.
Excellent video and description...many thanks.
thanks, one of the best fitting videos. :)
My rucksack takes my weight on my hips realy well, but it sways at the top with all straps tight. Is this normal or do I need a better fitting one?
I'm just fascinated by Charlie's accent. Where's he from?
Is this guide can be applied for some smaller bag with unpadded hip belt like Quechua Arpenaz 20?

Mad accent that
A better fit would be 2 or 3 inches higher than how you have it
Perfect vdo
Bad example, the rucksack is way too low for your torso
Rucksack too low buddy.
