We try our luck on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance again at Hollywood Studios. Whilst at the park, we visit Star Wars Launchbay and ride Slinky Dog Dash before departing the park for lunch. We take the Disney Skyliner over to Epcot. There we pop in through International Gateway for a look at the relocated Art of Disney store in the American Pavilion. We also have a little look inside the new Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
Making our way to Yacht Club, we enjoy lunch at Ale & Compass. Honestly, one of our favourite meals of the trip! Reasonably priced, excellent food, great service and nice and quiet. After, we venture over to Disney's Boardwalk for a look around the gallery there before Skylining back to Hollywood Studios.
We round up our park time by riding Toy Story Midway Mania, checking out the new Mickey Shorts Theatre, seeing Indiana Jones: Stunt Spectacular and a ride on Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. Back at Animal Kingdom Lodge, we have a little heart-to-heart about the amazing cast members making the difference on our trip before a quick service dinner at The Mara.

I was one of the cast members on the CRP when the parks closed and its so nice seeing it from the guests perspective as it honestly was such an emotional two days closing the parks and even harder to try and put on a brave face so we could make sure the guests were having a magical time and as if nothing else was happening so im so glad that transposed to the guests in the park !!

I worked on main street on the last day magic kingdom was open. So emotional. All of the kids from the college program were being sent home that day. And there were a lot of tears and lots of hugs. I honestly felt honored to be part of of the team that worked that last shift before closing to guests
All of my friends were CPs. I had been been a cp that fall. And had gone part time in January. So it was really hard to be staying and knowing everyone I knew in Orlando was leaving. We got to hang out and watch happily ever after together and stuff so it was a nice last shift
I 100% agree. Very emotional time for Disney fans and cast members overall! Good to see that the parks are back open. Hopefully things go back to normal soon so that everyone can get their jobs back!

Adam, I got teary eyed at the end of this vlog when you and Gary were talking about the cast members. I too am a former college program alum, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I feel for them, and all CMs. They make our trips magical, and being on the park front lines isn't always so magical for CMs. Love you and Gary!
I was apart of the DCP and was at work that day when they sent out the email of the program being canceled. It really makes me happy seeing the guest at the parks enjoying the magic and the cast members being amazing to the guest and the college program students.

Funny story, I stayed at Boardwalk last year on vacation and may have been treating myself a lot. My mom, to deflate my head, brings me into that gallery and goes "treat me"..... 😆

This video means so much to me. This was the day that I met you and Gary, you were arriving back at DHS from Ale and compass and we were leaving the park for the last time. I fully understand your feelings about the CP’s being terminated as just after I saw you my daughter called to tell me she had been terminated and it was very emotional and frightening as we had just a few days to get her back to Australia. Thank you so much for these videos as they are allowing me to relive the trip while social distancing. I’m feel all warm and fuzzy after the shout out, thank you so much 🥰. Take care.

The cast members are always one of my favorite parts of my days in the parks! When I found out about the Spring 2020 DCP and other programs being ended so soon my heart was broken for them!! All I've ever wanted was to become a cast member. I'm a hopeful Fall 2020 DCP CM and hope I can soon become a CM to make magic for others!
Wow watching this now in May 2022, crazy to think that none of us knew how long covid would go on for or how big it was. Amazing to see the positivity at a time of so much uncertainty! Im 23 and going for the first ever time later this year, these vlogs have made me so so excited ❤️

Adam, this vlog series has been such a nice escape from the craziness of the current state of the world, even for a little bit. But more importantly, you've inspired my Husband and I to finally go back for the first time since our Honeymoon 7 years ago. We're planning to do a Disney vacation next year.

This was the saddest day. I was working (at Studios ironically) and it was really hard for everyone. But we’re getting through it! I’m glad you guys had such a fun day. I love watching the vlogs, they make me so happy ❤️

Linda, I agree with you! I live and grew up in Tampa, Florida. And I'm proud to say that I've been going to Busch Gardens park for about 41, and Walt Disney Park for about 42 years back when those who remembered it was only Magic Kingdom park, Sea World and a wax museum and a few dinner shows back then! And always when you go all this amusement parks and tourist attractions, they overcharge for everything! Parking, the annual passes are sky high, the food and merchandise, drinks super expensive. But people still go! But I agree paying for a T-shirt will cost $30.00 or more, a long sleeve t-shirt. $65.00 or more, eating out in one this parks when they were open before this pandemic, easy for two people in one day $100.00 or more and that's nothing fancy. I know it's all beautiful, It's a place to get away from the everyday stress. But my point is that many families with kids cannot afford to go out there for a couple of days, only when they have Florida residents special, that it keeps on going up every year as well. Their hotels are beautiful, especially my favorite hotel which is Wilderness Lodge, which before all this pandemic, will run you over $250.00 or more a night. And the stores, restaurants, attractions are real nice, which I've been to many times in the past! The only thing is that everything in there is super expensive. Every tourist spot is always a lot more expensive, you're paying for the tourist spots!
I like the Mickey themed chairs in the Mickey short theater. Rise is so epic, this is truly the way

Another amazing vlog guys! Thank You so much for puttng in the time stamps for ROTR and MMRR. I am meant to be in Orlando RIGHT NOW experiencing those attractions for myself *sob* but have rebooked for next year.
