I can hold a plank for a minute but the problem is my body starts shivering like I'm in Antartica without my warm clothes
I go for about 2 minutes and I’m the same way. As far as I know it’s from tightening your muscles which is what a workout is supposed to do, which means you’re doing it right. Keep it up! Just don’t overdue it and strain a muscle. That’ll cause more harm than good.

I actually just tried it while incorporating all of these tips adding in one at a time and I see now that I finally am doing the plank correctly!
I never got them right before and I knew that but I never knew what exactly I was doing wrong. It was that squeeze the legs and follow with the glutes that really made all the difference in my case. Thank You SO MUCH Omgosh I can’t thank you enough!!

He is absolutely correct in tucking your pelvis and proper spinal alignment.
But you need to pull your elbows to your toes and pull your toes to your elbows to activate properly.
Try it and feel how much more engaged the chain is. It's a good feeling. 🔗🙏
