I wish VW still sold the Tourag in the US. I went for a V6 Atlas Cross Sport for the sportier styling and this feeling that an SUV should have a V6. At least in 2022 when I got mine.
Love the Touareg. Was my second choice after the Bentayga. Excellent balanced review. My car is available if you ever want to review it. Cheers, Joe and Jenny
I watched the video with petrol ped. Both are good videos. I have my own car reviewing RUclips channel and you and petrol ped are who inspired me the most to review cars. Keep it up
@@npoleary hope not telling you how to suck eggs! Petrol Ped said you can't tow.. Well you can tow a trailer now without taking the test. Just send your licence back to DVLA and they'll add the B+E category to your licence. Dvla website will tell you what to do.
Sadly not driven the BMW X5 but it is something I would love to cover in the future! 🤓 I can say though that the Touareg is their best model and it shows so definitely take it out for a test drive! 🤓👍🏼
Thank you! Yes it’s up there but I was absolutely amazed by its capabilities! If I ever need a larger car, I might certainly have that in my list of cars to compare 👀
Absolutely! Familiarity to be honest, and I really like the interiors and considering some of the journeys I do, I really like it! Plus on the upside it allows me easier access to film content for my channel for Mercedes fans 🤓 When it comes to change for my next one….it possibly might be different, we’ll see! 👀
@@npoleary thank you very much for that swift reply. I downsized from an S class with the old command system to an A200 Sedan in 2019. This has the MBUX system. For the life of me, other than the ability to re-start the tyre pressure monitor, I can’t see how to check the actual tyre pressures. Is there an upgrade to MBUX needed?
Ah nice! Well normally it’s located in the service menu but specs vary massively round the world so depends where you’re based. In the UK I’ve seen most cars with MBUX will have tyre pressure readings but I’ve certainly rented a car before in other countries that only tyre pressure loss monitoring (not the readings) Might be best to ask Mercedes that one and they can check for you 👍🏼
can we get a channel like this but instead of Mercedes do everything for BMW? so you have a friend that maybe works at a BMW dealership or something??? 🤣🤣
Thanks for the feedback You’ll have to bear with me, as I do this full time now it will take me time to get to grips with other manufacturers and learn what each one offers so I can review and check them out and offer my thoughts. Sadly I can’t change my voice though.
Great vid chap. Great collab and much fun had 👍
Thanks Man! 🙏
Yeah it was great! 👊🏼
@@npolearyYou guys need to do more collabs, great video
Thanks Paul! Glad you enjoyed it! Maybe, we'll have to see! 👀

@thomaswalker1258 ah thanks for sharing! 🤓🙏
@simondouglas3519
Defo not! Always looking to learn! And yeah I’ve just looked on the DVLA website, did that change recently or something?
Thanks Nick for sharing this new car. Hope all these new cars later you will be able to do one for comparison too 😁😁😁
Thank you! 🙏🙏 glad you enjoyed it!
Which one to choose Touareg or X5 ? Need help to choose.. X5 x40i VS Touareg elegance plus
Sadly not driven the BMW X5 but it is something I would love to cover in the future! 🤓

Great video again Nick. Out of my price range though maybe a second hand two years time🤔

Great video Nick, and great car too. Do you know when the revised Golf is out next year which will share lots of the Tec and Screen?
Thank you! 🙏
I’ve heard and read rumours too but sadly nothing from VW as of yet.
If I hear anything I’ll be sure to post about it!
Amazing, and perfect car
Very good 👍 hawmach black edition
VW ❤
Look up the updated rules regarding towing trailers Nick. The law changed in December 2022 allowing anyone to tow a trailer.
Oh yeah I know we found that out after filming! 😅
That was quietly updated! 🙏
You need to try my Bedford MJ ❤
Why did you choose Mercedes-Benz for your own daily drive? Did you consider the other German hatches like VW?

There’s nothing drives and does turning circles like Mercedes, Mercedes has a soul
2:39 i think most people that now own this Touareg would not take it offroad🙅🏽♂️
Agreed 👍🏼
But I can do it though and that was the whole concept of an SUV years ago. But yeah most don’t
Bentley Bentayga, Audi RSQ8, Urus are the expensive version of this same car...😂 It's amazing how VW sell the same car for 300k...😅
Sadly not driven the others but I know what you mean! All under the same umbrella!

Haha maybe! We’ll see 👀
I WONDER HOW VW OWNS AUDI AND PORSCHE YET THEY DO BETTER CARS THAN VW AMAZING
VW TOUAREG NEVER PRODUCE V8 ANYMORE?!
I don’t believe they do anymore :(
The most boaring review monotone voice no change threw out awful got board Hal way through gave up
