My mom always says "people who are so outwardly christian are often the most evil/ terrible people, and are often the biggest liars". Meaning that almost in a way people like this use religion as a scape goat for their bad behavior. Allowing themselves to do bad things with the excuse that they are "religious" so they cant be bad.
Unlucky for them, I'm highly religious but actually take it seriously, and I have a "do not take the lord's name in vain" hammer in case I ever meet these people
B-I-N-G-O!!!
I agree.
Wise words-and it’s always been true no matter where you are.
Clearly u don't live in the south
Kiki, I’m an old millennial and I don’t have social media other than RUclips, so videos like this are the only way I can find out about this type of nonsense 🤣🤣 So thank you!

The way people on the internet have conflated genuine valid criticism with hate is truly one of the biggest setbacks in having normal productive conversations on the web
Absolutely! I was just saying this today.
It's super unfortunate that folks can't just have a conversation anymore...Seemingly everything has turned into a debate these days.
Thing is we have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason!
Everyone’s a victim now a days to avoid valid criticism and growth, avoiding the biggest fear of theirs, taking accountability for their bs in delulu land.
This. Every single time someone brings up a legitimate concern or question that goes against these people (Not even defensively mind you! Just curious!) some of the crazier ones are quick to be be defensive and angry. They are so quick to say “If you don’t like it, just move on or don’t buy it. Haters opinions don’t matter”
Like…No. we are no letting this slide! If something is wrong, it needs to be CALLED OUT. You can’t just sweep it under the rug like that. That’s just one way for them as an excuse to shield themselves in being criticized. They always think they should have all the power.
Absolutely this! And their followers and fans enable this mentality.
Typical hun behavior 😂
The way she said "imma get my hands on these pjs one way or another. Honey I'll order them to a whole other state. You wont even see me coming" had me DYING 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah that was the best ❤
They want to be so transparent that they made the actual product transparent

i’m just sick of being sold too. no matter what platform i’m on, it’s these influencers promoting and selling anything and everything.
Heavy on the “any and everything.” It’s like no matter how niche your favorite interests are here comes somebody ready to sell you some new thing you didn’t know existed.
This exactly. Everything is a sneaky ad. Can’t even use Pinterest anymore smh
I love that I never buy anything and don't follow " Influencers "
What makes me mad is I pay for YT premium to avoid the commercials and being sold to, and yet in most videos creators are still trying to sell crap.
I don’t mind some things that I may actually find useful, but if they’re reviewing and just pushing shitty products, it sucks.
My god, they are not “designing a clothing line”. They are picking and choosing fabric, style and size from a pre-fab list of options from the manufacturer. It’s akin to ordering a bowl at Chipotle, and claiming you are “building a menu”
exactly !!! Someone I met once told me they were a "fashion designer with a clothing line" & I sew. So said "that is so cool!! what kind of machine do you use??"
he said "machine? oh no I don't sew." ... turned out he sold POD shirts & hoodies.

I’ve noticed the NO ONE has posted a review of the baby/kids range.
As a mum, putting my baby in fleece is downright dangerous. The chances of overheating are high and bub can’t tell you to get it off them 😔
If you're living in a colder area, especially with snow fleece, pajamas are fine
Aren't there laws for kids' pajamas, that they have to be either tight-fitting or fire-resistant? There used to be.

It's not easy when the internet is blasting a stranger over something -tbh- not everyone was actually in the market for. Should they rename TikTok, idk "pecking order?" That's why I come here for Kylie's take, it's on point. It was clear to myself these women dove head first and did not educate themselves whatsoever. This was a dumpster fire.

FYI: Rayon is just a name for the method of making fabric where cellulose-based (plant) materials are broken down and extruded into fiber. This results in a fabric that is very soft and silky and drapey, but does NOT have good longevity or abrasion resistance. BAMBOO AND MODAL ARE BOTH ALSO MADE THIS WAY!!! If the fabric feels thicker and denser between your fingers when you touch it, it may still hold up better, but to all consumers PLEASE be aware that bamboo/rayon/tencel/modal/etc are all essentially the same fabric with the same problems. Calling a fabric bamboo rather than rayon (when bamboo rayon is simply a type of rayon) is a marketing tactic. Cotton and linen hold up much, much better over time :-)
Thank you. I can here to comment this, Modal is a type of Rayon. As someone with a degree and work experience in Textiles, I don't buy anything modal. Partially personal preference in feel (hate it) but I might as well just buy cotton lol
I came here to say this: I worked in fabric development and modal is rayon.
Also! If there is shrinkage due to prints the pattern should be adjusted to compensate. But it sounds like there is absolutely no product development here
Right, when modal and bamboo were mentioned, my first thought was "they are made the same way tho" lol. Longer lasting, but still same process and not what I'd call "high-end" more like marketing ploys.
Wow! Thanks! I knew Rayon was cheap but by the way people talk about how bamboo is more expensive I thought it would be a better product. I’ve always wanted to buy cotton or wool anyways, but now I know to also avoid bamboo if I see it. 😊👍🏻
What are the expensive fabrics?

Me too 😂
Same here 😂
Ha, same!
Me too. Came right here after finishing Hannah’s video 😂
Same same 😂
The difference in packaging from customer to customer, no packing slip or thank you notes, actually SCREAMS dropshipping to me. It means it's being sent from different wharehouses depending on the customers location, and I don't know of a single small indie brand doing this with products they create themselves. This would also explain why these pjs don't even fit the "owners". They just ordered samples to promote, but in no way were invested in any kind of creating process. No way, no one will convinced me otherwise. Also, I'm 100% convinced that the insane pricing, has to do with the fact that both of these women wanted to make a certain amount of profit EACH. And they had to insanely gauge the price in order to both profit equally. Completely insane business "strategy" all the way around.
I love how they say "if you don't like it, don't want to pay that much then don't" like nobody is allowed to say boo about it. Girl if you have the right to put up these janky PJ's at $95 then I have every right to tell you how dumb and shitty that is.
I have a hard time even selling my art for that price, that I put hours and hours into. Lol. And these people are out here selling ali express pj's for 95 dollars.
Yeah if something is expensive and the seller claims they are luxury item, but the product isn't giving... Then people have the right to call it out. We need to bring back having standars, especially for items that are 90-100 dollars.🙄😑
@@rubykennedymediaYeah, I don't sell things I make anymore. People who appreciate it and understand what it's worth will get it for their birthday or Christmas, but I don't sell to ignorant people anymore. Good luck with your art! ❤
@renatheer thank you. Yea it's a lot of work for people to scoff at even asking 5 dollars for a charm you took an hour to make lol. i'm working on a crochet blanket, and so far i've put in about sixty hours. The blanket is just going to be for me.Because nobody will be willing to pay what it's worth
@rubykennedymedia That's the first thing we have to learn as makers or people working in the arts: people refuse to understand how that is more worth than the overpriced blush or clothes they buy without hesitation. Most of my sweaters and cardigans I've knitted myself, in anything from thin linen and silk for summer to mohair, alpacca or icelandic or Norwegian wool for winter. Of course they will cost more just in materials, no way people would pay what it's really worth if they knew how many hours I spend knitting them.
I've also startet sewing my own clothes that I don't want to be knitted (pants, shorts, tshirts etc) and one good thing about this is that I have to much respect for the poor underpaid workers to want to buy something that will ve thrown away in a month, let alone the environment.
I threw down my Wipe That Tush wipes and Hello Kitty blanket so fast and clicked this video. I’ve been waiting for u to talk about this!!

Kiki, thank you for mentioning the fact that the baby/child garments do not meet the requirements for baby/child pajamas in the USA. This needs to be emphasized more.
Is it me or the women's sets are better quality than others? I wonder if it's because women are their target customer. Most people trying on these were women as well.
That is a HUGE issue.
Yes 👏🏼 I think they get around this because they don’t say that it is SLEEPwear on their website. Since it is called a jumpsuit and they don’t refer to sleeping in it on their website I think they skirt the law. People should know though that it is NOT safe for sleep for their children

The whole "building this business from the ground up" is killing me. Girls - you aren't opening a factory or building a warehouse here. You designed some basic pjs and had them made in China. Stop pretending you did something difficult or new.
You forgot designing a terrible website that doesn't even give you a size chart.
Saying they designed the pajamas is offensive to my sensibilities…they picked out graphics from a catalog and added them to the choices the factory had available.
Would never, never ever order anything online that didn't have a return policy and would never, never ever order anything from. An "influencer". Imagine just being given store credit just to buy more poorly made cheap crap.
as someone who grew up around pastor's wives and children, this is about as shocking to me as seeing a fork in the kitchen💀
I love this comment. I grew up in a hyper-religious community. The constant scandals I became aware of as I grew got older, were numerous!
The most shocking was two prominent women in the church having a threesome with a prominent man in the church, who was neither of these women's husband.
I’m Catholic, so I’ve never met a pastor’s wife for obvious reasons. 😂 Are these women narcissists? It seems like they should be selfless, trying to serve their communities. Genuinely curious.
@@theresa.m. In my experience it’s because they don’t have their own lives outside being subservient baby makers from a young age, so they tend to get involved in scams and drama since they’ve never really lived in the ‘real’ world and they have nothing else to occupy their lives. And they’re inherently self-righteous and ‘better’ than everyone else, so they really don’t have shame or self-awareness. TBH I’ve never met a kind or community-serving ‘high ranking’ religious woman in the US, though of course they must exist somewhere, these just get more attention.
@@theresa.m. church people doesnt always mean good people
@@theresa.m.typically yeah- they are “alpha moms” the leader of whatever social group they make themselves out to be, especially bc in church communities they are already the leader of the moms there bc they are married to the pastor
I personally never witnessed this bc at my church (baptist, sorry) the pastors’ (current and former pastor) children are already grown up by the time I was born so their wives are just gossipy grandmas, especially bc of how small our church is
(like the fullest we ever were was like 40 or 50 something when I was little, and now sundays are barely 20 and Wednesday nights are barely 5-10)
But I’ve definitely witnessed the “alpha mom” in other areas, mostly at the 4-H fair, lotta those over there, one in each community/club and one big alpha mom mob boss to rule them all (usually not even on the board, just rules them all from one singular club her kids are in that she used to be in)
This is why applying MLM business techniques to the real world doesn’t work.

Fold it, put it back on the shelf, and move on with your day! 🤣😩
gonna start charging laundry as stocking fee. 🫠
Yeah we charge restocking fees at my family-owned FURNITURE store. And not to be scammy…any refunds do not mean we get the furniture back to try to re-sell it, we legally aren’t allowed to do that. We have to eat the cost of the furniture (or special orders, if somebody demands refunds because their stuff isn’t coming soon enough due to issues outside of our control we definitely will charge a 10% restocking fee because literally we’ve already ordered the furniture and paid wholesale for it). So we charge those and even then it’s totally at our discretion. Like…if baby furniture that someone ordered has to be refunded because something tragic happened…of course we are not gonna bother them about that!!

I’m an attorney, and these assertions about defamation and malicious intent are insane! First off, malicious intent is an element of a claim for libel, not defamation. Second, defamation requires that the statement made be false so pointing out the details about fabric and pricing from their website is obviously not applicable. I can tell these sisters are not represented by an attorney because what they said is nonsensical. But if they are they should probably find a better one!
Definitely, they should have an attorney, to guide them.😮

Violation of Federal Flammability Standards. They sold them at the time AS PAJAMAS. They need to be reported, money refunded and recalled!
As someone who as a kid had a spark fly out of our wood-burning fireplace and land on my nightgown, kids pajamas being flame retardant is super important. Luckily mine was and it didn't catch fire only melted a little hole in the fabric and I was uninjured.
They should be reported to the better business bureau for false advertising too
That was my first thought as soon as I heard they were rayon and fleece.
Wow….the “supporters” are missing the point, as you said. The price isn’t the focus: the abysmal lack of quality and workmanship for said price is the problem. I call this ✨" Unproblematic glow"✨
Unproblematic people in the internet always look amazing!
@@Al-Vr-alvery true! just at Anne Hathaway
She does! I wish I had the motivation to look put together and do my hair and makeup like this everyday. But, alas, I just wake up, run a brush through my hair haphazardly, swipe some eyeliner and mascara on if I’m feeling particularly feisty, and rush out the door 😭.
"Just for that, I'm NEVER moving on." I laughed out loud! 😆😆💗💗
50:28 I like to sew and so I’m in Joann Fabrics a lot, there’s literally SIGNS telling you that fleece is not safe for kids sleepwear.
Exactly. If something has been chemically treated/protected then there’s usually an industry logo or name signifying what standards it should have..
Wow! I had no idea. Thanks for the info.
woah, thanks for telling us!
“Just for that, just for that I’m never moving on” 😂love it!
My favorite line in the whole video!!! I love her!!!
I hate people like this because actual small businesses who are offering quality get drowned out and they have to show that they aren’t like these people who price gouge.
lol “Go to Old Navy like everyone else” had me rolling bc I literally was just looking at their family pjs
That's where I go for matching pj's. 100% cotton flannel for their basic pj pants, alternative fabric and cut options, a wide variety of prints from cutesy to classic plaids, huge range of sizes from tiny dog to women's 4X, and I think they even have petite and tall? And they are super inexpensive. Nothing wrong with getting your family Old Navy pajamas for Christmas.
My whole family - three sisters + husbands + 4 kids just ordered matching pjs from old navy! And added granny and grandpa and spent way less money!!
"I'm gonna die on the button hill." 😆 She's big mad. I am here for it.
Who follows these women 😂? I can't hardly stand to hear their voices they sound so fake. It warms my heart that people called them out for scamming people.... means maybe there is hope for humanity 😂
Awesome video!
So true, and they are just so full with themselves! Being the main characters, you know :D
Humanity I pray. For the next four years ….it’s looking bleak,
I love how you and hannah alonzo both posted a video about this on the same day spill that tea ☕️
I know nothing about these influencers or pajamagate but I watched Hannah's video and now this video because learning about this drama is preferable to dealing with my problems lol.
@@bowtiejess80same here 😅
Yessss I literally just got done watching Hannah’s and then Kiki’s video popped up on my notifications I was like omg yesss
Not me first watching Hannah and then Kiki to get all the tea about influencers (I dont even know, I might add)
Yes! I know where ill be going after this vid😊
If they cancel orders just bc people want to review the product, they are admitting that they know the product is bad. Legit businesses WANT reviews - because if the product is good, a review is precious! They even ask people for reviews! Not wanting any reviews at all? Yeah they know this is a bad product...
That blew my mind. And then admitting that they cancelled the order for that reason.
And it's a double score if the reviewer paid for it before doing so. It's wild
The demonic thing about her is actually dorectly found in Scrioture in the Sermon on the Mount... "you cannot love both God and Money. You cannot serve two masters." She loves money, and claims Christs name. Its an aesthetic that doesnt even make sense lol
I actually love you so much “just for that, IM NOT MOVING ON, EVER”. I’m so happy I have you to notify me of all the insannnne people out there in the world.
At the end of the Samantha is a beautiful soul video, when she’s like “I’m not gonna forget” 😂😂
I will never ever ever buy something from influencers 🤮
i will from artist influencers, but not people who just want quick cash like these guys
@ i agree
100%
I won't from the majority of them but there are a few I trust that give their honest opinions and only promote products that they love. But that is only like two.
shes a pastrors wife and instead of the pajamas having any reference to the birth of Jesus they have ski chalets and santa? 0 marketing skills....
They aren’t true Christians. They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing Matthew 7:15. I hope they repent of it. The greed is disturbing
I hope nobody buys them and these influencers end up with boxes of cheap pajamas in their garage.
i love how thorough and in depth your videos are. you always go beyond the scandal to explain every detail as to why this is an issue + how it’s affecting real people. another great look at the worst of humanity :/
What a missed opportunity to name this brand “4 THE MLMS”
😂😂
OK, you won the Internet today. Great comment.
OMG, I'm not normally one to day this, but this comment deserves way more likes!
after you hand wash it that is what their label will say, no doubt. The E will be flaked away.
@@kerryallenomg that was precisely my thought process!!! That and the pun!
these people know they have no real lasting skills and have to cash in while they can, and it leads to these get rich quick schemes, its so obnoxious.
So true
100% agreeee
“Just for that… I’m NEVER moving on” girl you’re so badass! Love you
I love your refreshing no bs commentary! “They posted this stupid thing” 😂
I buy my 100% cotton (super cute designs too) pjs from Tj Maxx. Usually they run me 10-20$ and they have great designs. $98 for cheap material and mediocre designs is outrageous!
YES! Love PJs from TJMAXX and Marshall's! Super soft, pretty designs and between $17-25.
As a market researcher, I can 100% confidently say that there is no way they did any or worked with any kind of agency pre-launch. Any OUNCE of consumer research would tell them that not only are these prices insane, but that there simply is not this great demand for influencer made pjs that they seem to believe there is. There is a whole research methodology to gauge price vs. intent to purchase but no instead they decided to charge whatever they want assuming their followers would pay. be so fr
THANK you, I was truly Hurting from all the theives , Your caring about people has lifted me THank you for choosing Right , I care about you .
I have never heard of these influencers, however, I am so thoroughly disgusted about cash grabs from greedy social media aholes. They think they are better and smarter than everyone else.
And they voted. Thank you😮
I swear, these influencers get crazier every minute!
I live for your attitude Kiki omg. Luckily, I don't have a tiktok, so I don't have to worry about seeing this garbage. You and hannah are my preferred sources of influencer shenanigans
I'm so glad I only had TikTok for a month and I don't think I even watched a single video on the main page. I mostly forgot I had the app.
I made one tiktok where it was looking at my 2 dogs and then I farted loudly and they looked over at me immediately! So I added some rainbow effect when I farted. 🤣 My history with tiktok is still better than most of the crappy content on that app!
Robert Welsh also dropped a pyjama drama video 😂
Just need Jaime French to do one, and life will be complete.
The saying is…”A fool and his money are soon PARTED.” I loved it. I don’t know why, but u gave me such a laugh. ….thank you!
I was expecting to see better materials at that price point and then you read 93% Rayon and 7% Spandex and I was shocked. I'm literally completely dumfounded.
Socks and tights are made out of better materials
I grew up in the town outside Nashville where Cecily moved to with her husband and I swear now it’s just full of vapid influencers who only care about themselves. Frustrating.
I knew I recognized some of the locations throughout the photos!! But as I was saying "that's Nashville" Kiki was stating she thought it was NewYork so I wasn't completely sure; but once I spotted the Titans hat-I knew for certain!!! There are not too many Titan fans outside of Nashville/TN in general
Lol.
I grew up just outside of Nashville as well and every time I go back to visit family it’s astonishing how bad it’s getting there
Hahaha, very accurate about Titans fans being very specific to TN. It’s definitely Nashville. As soon as she started showing up on my explore page talking about how her family moved to Franklin from California it was an immediate no from me.
Nashville is ruined.
Woke out of state fleeing folks and rampant crime….. destroying my beautiful state 😢😢😢😢
OMG ‘Vapid’ is *such* a great word and it’s not used nearly enough. These two ladies are truly vapid, plus they are clueless, ignorant, and uneducated & proud of it. Vapid: that’s just describes them to a T. Thanks for making me smile and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
The fact that they use to be in a mlm explains so much. So much of there reaction is out of the mlm boss babe handbook
Kiki, nobody rants like you 😂 I agree with absolutely everything you said. Thank you!!!!
“ITS SLOP”
“MISSES SIR BLOCKS ALOT”
I AM DECEASED YOU ARE SO FUNNY!
I JUST finished watching Hannah Alonzo’s video about this! What the hell is happening with people and pajamas these days? Are we having a shortage that I didn’t know about? For God sakes I wear the same shorts and cheerleading T-shirts that I’ve had since high school and I’m 38! Christ on a stick someone fetch me my pirin tablets!!
I just finished her video too and immediately came here!
Me too, I sleep very warm and if someone can please make actual breathable pj's I'd be happy. For now I'm sticking to my cotton shorts and cotton old t shirt front back in the day!
Just want to throw in my two cents about the conversation on the PJs. I’ve been working in the retail fashion industry for about 2 decades. Rayon in and of itself isn’t a red flag in my opinion. There can be some high quality rayon fabrics, it depends a lot on the fabric supplier who knitted it up. Spandex isn’t necessarily bad either, it prevents baggy knees etc… My biggest concern is that you shouldn’t put Rayon in the dryer due to issues with shrinking. When you’re talking about family PJ’s, easy care should DEFINITELY be a factor. Also if the finished cost of goods is under $10, I’d question whether they’re using a factory that uses fair labor practices.
Are they fire retardant?
Was curious about the rayon/bamboo issue… I have fabric and crafted items with a blend of bamboo fiber and they hold up perfectly fine, better than most cheaper-mid priced 100% cotton items, and still cheaper in price than well sourced linen fabrics. Of course, fiber or thread length is a player there, but I’ve found bamboo blends to be wonderful.
Spandex is a tricky one for me, I have experience in both figure skating and dance and 90% of the clothes are tricot or knit polyester. There are some great moisture wicking ones out there, but even the cheaper stuff is relatively pricey for what it is. Wouldn’t recommend machine washing those fabrics either though.
Now if the pjs were cotton flannel… I think they could have made a great product and profit. Although that would imply they are hiring workers themselves, paying them at least minimum wage, and in good working conditions. These influencers are a example of why Etsy is so hit or miss anymore, monogramming on drop shipped products is not the same as a true custom product, that said they could at least be upfront about it. 😕
The website said to hang dry the pajamas I think. Which is crazy because 90% of parents don't want to have to go through the hassle of hang dryer all of their kid's pajamas.
@@XOXO-love222absolutely no way. I barely feel like doing that with my own clothes. 😂
Children's Place is selling their family pajamas for $5-10. Just fyi if people are looking for jammies. I've purchased a halloween set from them about 5 years ago. Still holds up.
Everyone needs to contact the BBB and get them shut down for all this nonsense! False advertising, changing product descriptions, bad business practices, unprofessional practices, customer discrimination by canceling orders, and the list continues growing. They should just take the LOSS and stop trying to run a shotty business.
Where I worked, we always wrote notes on the packing slip. It's super helpful not only to feel authentic and give special notes to repeat customers, but we also used it to track who packaged the order. I always trust a small company more when I'd get a handwritten note.
It goes to show how insanely out of touch influencers are. Im happy to say I've never watched or supported family vloggers because I think it's gross exploiting your child.
I loveeee your energy. the way you're passionate about these things is so similar to how I feel and I love to feel less alone. I just HATE seeing people do this stuff, when theres so much more to do that would be *helpful*.
I just watched a tiktok which showed a clip from a podcast where Cecily talks about how she „still doesn‘t know what plus and minus is“. Like she talks about how she doesn‘t know what the words „debit“ and „credit“ mean and how she viewed credit cards like gift cards in the past. I don‘t know how old that clip is (doesn‘t seem too old tbh) but not knowing that in your 30s is INSANE and explains a LOT!
