We startwd here this week with the PIN but still not good enough. Riders are using other peoples acct. And the PIN gets texted to whoever is riding. Not necesarly the rider that asked for the ride. Uber also has ti fix that darn app it keeps freezing during rides.
I was abused yesterday. I accepted a $15 upfront fare and waited 7 minutes for the passenger to show. I start driving and noticed the ride went from 45 minutes to 5 minutes. The passenger faked their intended destination so she would be picked up quickly. I was only paid $5.
I would love to see an addition to the app where you can see the other drivers around you (like Lyft has) and being able to see actual areas where passengers are being picked up ln the last hour or so. That historical $$$ has to go. Not interested in the 'historical' information, does no good.
IMO i think they are doing all this catering to the drivers opinion and safety recently simply to detract attention from the ever decreasing amount they are paying the drivers
I'm happy with the improvements, but I don't just one star a passenger for rudeness. I've had problems with riders getting off work who are absolutely filthy and smelly and they expect a ride. Cleanliness needs to be brought back as a reason to 1 star a rider.
This is not for the driver, but for uber themselves. drivers are not picking up passengers with low ratings, which takes from uber's profit. They are only doing this so more passengers won't get low ratings so driver will pick them up so uber can make more money. Remember, uber and lyft only do things that benefits them and when they present it, they make it seems like its for the driver & passengers
If the riders are drivers customers than we need to know how much they pay to Uber and LYFT, because if riders want a refund we need to know the cost the paid not that I will refund riders lmao.
Apparently,Uber is finally realizing the importance of drivers.The passenger is always right crap is no longer fashionable.
