Great video I was lucky enough to be able to fly business class for my first time last year and it was on Singapore airlines from Adelaide to Singapore Singapore to Hong Kong and back. Adelaide to Singapore was by far The best leg of the trip service was impeccable and you are 100% correct book the cook was amazing. I had black Angus perfectly cooked medium rare steak from Adelaide to Singapore and Wagyu beef from Singapore to Hong Kong tremendous. I dream of flying business class with them again someday
Thanks ! I managed to book a Singapore Airlines Business Class Flight Bangkok to Singapore and Singapore To Melbourne in October using Velocity . Can't wait .
Nice tips! I tried BOOK THE COOK last time, but wasn’t that impressed to be honest. Food was a bit ordinary for SQ - the seats are a bit narrow as you say, but you have a little extra wriggle room in the centre seats if that helps? I loved the free wifi though - not even EMIRATES offers that
The food seems to be a hit and miss on the regional routes, but with btc, atleast we are guaranteed something decent. I love how wifi is free across cabins and not just restricted to premium ones
I find its too expensive from Adelaide to Singapore flying business class. I usually book economy and then Premium Economy to Europe. Depending on if an upgrade is offered from Singapore to Europe and the price i might upgrade to business class as its 13 hours.
They never have enough amenities packs when I flew. Crew were very nice. The seat for short haul on the 787 is good but long haul on the A380 and A350 is rubbish. Won’t be flying them again until they change their seats. Next six long haul flights all booked with Emirates.
That's a bummer! I've had good luck with their amenity packs. I understand what you mean by the long haul seats. It is angled and you have to sleep in a weird position. However, Emirates 777 business class isn't that great either with no direct aisle access for window seats and middle seat in business class. Unless you are on their refreshed 777 or A380?
@ We are on the refreshed A380 for all six sectors starting from Melbourne for that exact reason of the 1-2-1 layout, cocktail bar, better lounges in Melbourne and Customs and Immigration are so slow and tedious into Adelaide.

Nice review mate. Seat looked great. Singapore cabin crew never disappoint!
I agree, they are top notch!

How good is adelaide. As a 'regional ' we punch quite highly
Even our national carrier qantas doesn't fly internationally from here.
Haha, you sure do. Qantas is very Sydney centric!

Makes sense... the flight is longer and probably at an awkward time of the day compared to this day flight!
