The delay almost doubled the transit time, which was terrible at this airport because there wasn't much to do. I'm very surprised to see Sri Lankan Airlines served a small snack on this very short flight; and also IFE with USB port on an old narrowbody

Service Quality is Zero!!!...My last trip to India was horrible..Flight was delayed terribly at Sydney..As usual, no intimation whatsoever for the delay..after arrival in colombo, we were asked to take the transit visa after payment in order to avail the free lodging facility which is just ridiculous. They entice you with free lodging then finally, you land up in all sorts of hassles. During my recent trip, they were calculating the ticket price for the free lodging requirement than, duration of the stay for the connecting flight...Sorry, won't be taking srilankan airlines, hereafter!!!!

The Golden lounge is one of the best lounges. Love the food there, especially South Indian vegetarian. Malaysian Airlines changes it's equipment like Malaysian Airport changes it's boarding gate. KUL > MEL on QF Points is quite hard to find these days if you're Gold and lower. Great review once again!!

Thanks for the informative review. Cathay's product looks quite good. Please don't pay even a jot of attention to the SCAMtrax rankings. It just shows how rubbish those rankings are when Air New Zealand's premium economy does not even feature in the top 10, when in reality it's the best PE product out there. Only Emirates' PE comes close. Singapore Airlines' PE is so average yet it appears at #2. What's that about? Skytrax is one big scam.
