I might as well ask you, do you have a recomendation for a pedal board? To house the es8, expression, and 5 or 6 standard size pedals? Appreciate you man😊

They’re on an angle and have a space at the back to put in one of their mods for passing through leads. There are tonnes of pedalboards out there, for me this was budget friendly, available, & they’re solid. Works for me.
Hi Dave, really appreciate your GT1K core videos. You have a great repository of tips and tricks for this device. I have a question related to MIDI being sent TO the Boss GT1K. I have a USB MIDI footcontroller (Line 6 FBV EXPRESS MKII) which does not have 5 pin MIDI. Only a B type USB out. I use it with my Mac to control Helix Native/Neural DSP plugins as it also has built in expression pedal. I want to know how I can connect that device to Boss GT1000 core. Is there any way (using a USB MIDI host like Kenton/DoReMIDI) to send MIDI messages to Boss GT1000 core to toggle effects on/off and use expression pedal for volume/wah/whammy/any other custom parameter? I read online that Boss GT1000 core uses MIDI SysEx instead of MIDI CC but I’m not very knowledgeable about MIDI. Do you think the above setup will work? Thanks again for your videos and keep the GT1K core content coming. A video about the Feedbacker effect for metal guitars would be perfect 👍

Hey man. I’m going to guess yes..? When you attach a BOSS FS controller it maps to certain parameters. I say plug it in and see what happens, then tweak from there.

I just started using pedal effects and what I want to do is use my rc-5 loop station as master to enslave sy200 and dl200 to get automatically the same tempo than my loop phrase using midi calebles. Is that possibile and how to do it? Plus what's that software you are using on your computer?
Firstly, that software is for the GT-1000. From my knowledge of that looper, you should be able to link everything with mini trs cables. You’ll need 1 out of the looper to 1 pedal, then out of that pedal to the next. Make sure you have the middle pedals ‘midi thru’ set. Have both receiving devices set to midi in. Set the RC-5 to midi out, and everything should follow along.
I am using the Core with Logic X but something from the Core keeps changing my Channel Strip Settings. Please help.Everything else is fine but when I change some presets on the Core, the channel strip set for the track in Logic switches to other effects. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.
My guess is that you are sending midi from the Core either on the same channel as Logic, or in Omni mode. Try switching channels on the Core and see if that stops the problem.

Why do you have a band after the nut?
It’s a fret wrap. On some guitars, especially this Les Paul, I can hear the strings ringing when I stop playing, and the fret wrap eliminates that.
