I’ve been practicing the fair drag downs a bunch and my favorite thing to do right now is to grab after the second one and follow up on that. In my experience practicing on midweights you can’t really get a third one after doing two at zero, so the grab gets the combo’s percent up to about 65 or 70. I love that percentage range too because (correct me if I’m wrong on this one) approaching short hop dair into another dair at the ledge kills a lot of people around that percent. TLDR: These drag down combos are AWESOME!
Tomonator I think i found it. It seems like all hits have to connect in order to drag down. If you start connecting fair after missing the first couple hits you’ll just end up knocking them back. At least from me experience!

i liked falco but he hadnt much options other than up tilt. Now after the buffs having down tilt as a combo starter and ilusion having an absurdly fast startup i love playing him now
i’ve always liked falco but never thought he was good enough to commit to over characters that didn’t struggle killing and struggle so much in neutral but after this buff i’m really trying to get into him so thanks for all of this content to help myself and people like me

If you wanna know how to get out, every character can get out of this if they just neutral air dodge or and maybe even do nothing or even just a fast fall since you’re not in tumble. You need to be at least +8 to combo into dtilt out of fair dragdown, and seeing at how inconsistently it combos, I think it’s safe to say you’re not any more than +8 as falco at these percents. What this means is that the Falco has, at most, 8 frames to run off and down air which is simply impossible. Falco can read the air dodge, but that puts Falco at a disadvantageous position to get reversaled or ledge trapped. You might even be able to air dodge to ledge as most characters. Falco had to go through his 15 frames of fair landing lag , his 11 dash frames, ledge fall frames (idk how much this is) and 10 frames of dair startup to get the dair. All in all falco has > 36 frames (half a second) before dair comes out. Taking away the 15 frames cause Falco is + and another 8 cause he’s +8, you have 13 frames to act which is plenty of time to get an airdodge out.
Just throwing out an idea, but if you start with with dtrhow->dd fair loops (like 2-3 times), then you could prob grab->uthrow->dair->landing nair, and at these percents get a kill with uthrow/utilt->bair. Havent't labbed it but that looks doable to me.
1:43 this combo right here onstage could actually deal so much damage if you did a FF Nair or even another Dair while they’re now grounded. You actually could just land with nothing and react to tech options/missed tech or a bounce and just keep going

Trixx how in the **** do you get this to land on Bowser? I'm watching your segment on 1/4 speed while in training mode in 1/4 speed putting the same inputs for fastfall in at the same percent on Bowser, and I can never get the dragdown. It's usually the full move. Please help!!!
Is it just me, or is dthrow -> drag down fair a lot harder to get consistently than dtilt -> drag down fair? I seem to be getting the final fair hit when I start with dthrow like 90% of the time. Is it not true with dthrow? I just ask because I get grabs and uptilts a lot more frequently at 0% than dtilt.

I completely destroyed my friends with Falco the other day with combos’s leading to dair and side b dunks, so now they think the Falco buff is broken 😂
Lucina's dolphin slash is frame 5. Its invincible, but you werent hitting her at the invincible portion of the move. A lot of characters can recover out of this - obvious examples being Mario, Ryu/Ken, Byleth (lol), Ike etc. Donkey kong and cloud seem pretty dead tho
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the replay option should pop up after a match is over. There are so many times were I felt bad after a match because I forget to clip it. For example, I nailed a kill confirm on my friend with a Falco triple down air, and I forgot to clip it
I've been able to do cancel the third fair when I am not attacking anyone, but once I hit the other player, I am unable to fastfall no matter how quickly I press down controller. What am I doing wrong?
Would this work against Yoshi? He has a frame 1 heavy armor with his double jump, if it doesn't do enough knockback here it won't break it, and thus him, Bayo, and (maybe) Luigi would be chars that can get out of it
I manage pull it off in training (to DK), but the combo counter seems to reset after the down tilt that follows the first Fair draggdown. Is the combo still true or am I fuckin something up ?
The combo counter has been faulty for a long time. It is inaccurate within 1-2 frames and doesn't take having landing lag into consideration. If you're fast enough you will get it to work but the combo counter will never say it's true

You could always throw out a third dair.. With a double jump. Or footstool. Also if someone has the balla to airdodge that low. Their lag will kill them. Maybe villager could make it back but that's it
so if you land a single d-tilt in neutral against lucina on FD you automatically get a stock if you dont mess up? How is that fair lmfao that is so busted the other player cannot outplay in ANY WAY with or without DI , SDI and shit???????

StiLLRepp 562 it’s later than you think. Its weird. I would try doing wildly different timings and try and find that sweet spot

I love running off stage and immediately fairing them then chaining into another fair. Then finish with up b toward the fkn blast zone 😂
StiLLRepp 562 you can also just spam the joystick downwards repeatedly while doing the fair if that makes it easier for you

Short hop with x/y, then control stick down while your r stick goes forward
You have to fastfall on a frame that falco isn’t attacking with a hit box making the timing a bit tight

I found something similar except the fair drag down ends at 40-50 percent and finisher is a down tilt rar full hop up air into a back air

Yes they need to be in the air and you need to fast fall the fair

This should be possible from a full hop fair drag down if the drag down combo extends that far too (to the ledge)....

@@MetaTrixx Dtilt fair loops do not work on heavies, they can shield. ddfair frame advantage is based on weight.
