Living in a country where a lot of brands aren't available I actually really appreciate it when youtubers "cheat" in tags. That way it's easier to find an alternative I can get!
Mariana, lots of articles are simply created for the companies to make money. You may mix beauty products in your kitchen to treat your skin. Black Mascara, one red and one rose lipstick, two eyeshadows and one concealer and some transparent powder got me through the most years of my life. This you should get in every country on this earth. Maybe you don't need anything at all due to your natural beauty. Nobody needs the contouring stuff. Watch Lisa Eldridge and Andreea Ali. They are makeup professionals and never use it. Contour Palettes were created for making money on useless products in makeup industry. They only came up five years ago. Same for highlighters on cheeks. Nobody needs that. Big business.
@Ai Sian not all "high-end" products cost hundreds of dollars, especially if you're a smart shopper! I like watching videos on both high-end and drugstore products because at the end of the day knowledge is power. You get to know your preferences watching videos on high end makeup since they normally start with the new formulations, and then you can watch drugstore videos to know if there's an affordable option. Also, sometimes, it's better to get a bunch of samples and then get a "high-end" product on sale/discount, rather than being unable to test anything from the drugstore and thus inadvertently having to buy unsuitable products. For me personally, I have dry, sensitive (and acne-prone) skin in a medium shade (with an olive undertone), so it's much harder to get good foundation products. So if I get an Armani cushion foundation for $40-70 (depending on the sales), have that work for me for a year daily and then be confident in my makeup, rather than drugstore formulas that emphasise my texture or make me break out, I'll take it. Even at its highest price point ($70), that means I'll have spent $6 on foundation in a month, without having to deal with breakouts, or buying something else to make the foundation work (e.g. darkening/lightening drops), or another foundation entirely. At the lowest price point mentioned ($40), it'll cost me $3.5/month. Personally I'd be happy with a Korean cushion foundation or BB cream at an affordable price, but most brands' darkest shade is too light for me. However, I won't be spending more than $5 on mascara ever, not only because the drugstore formulations are great if not better, and my skin doesn't have a problem with it, but also because you have to use them up/throw them in 3-6 months. Also, makeup is highly subjective, and while I understand the sentiment of not wanting to spend a fortune on makeup (and concur), I know a lot of non-beauty-guru people who do have an extensive makeup collection, a lot of it high-end. It makes them happy, and it's their money (and as long as they're not neglecting their basic necessities), who are we to stop them right? So in that regard, I don't think the title is misleading.

I’m that person with an ideal small collection because I give away stuff that didn’t work. I legit have one foundation, one conealor. I don’t have a primer, I have seen no benefit in using them but I have a corrector because my skin tone is prone to discoloration. I watch too much beauty youtube but never feel pressured to update. I legit have 8 year old eyeshadows, a five year old blush, 10 year old brushes.
I feel like a better title for this tag would be “if I stopped being a RUclipsr today, this would be my collection” as it seems the reason youtubers pick the products for this tag is because they had the opportunity to try them through RUclips, not that they necessarily would have tried it on their own previously - if that makes any sense?

First youtubers buy tons of makeup to build up their channel. Then the beauty companies send them cosmetics for free as advertisements. So most youtubers have to throw out most makeup as it expires before they have a chance to use it.

I’ve thought a lot about my edited collection. I wouldn’t want to live by these rules but I do kind of miss the days I had a small amount of makeup. My special beauty hack for traveling with five products. Matte dark brown eyeshadow from Bobby brown is first product. Wet as an eyeliner using a fine brush. Put on as eyeshadow using brush or just finger. Using as brow pencil. Just brush little eyeshadow in using brow brush. Nobody needs brow products like wax to keep brows in place. Just cut them with your small scissors. 4 or 5 millimeters of brows are perfect lengths. Product two is concealer. Product three is mascara. No need to explain. Product four is transparent powder or some colour powder. Best is compact for traveling. Number five is lipstick in rosewood, I love it with shimmer. Works day and night and works as a blusher, too. These five products work between age 16 to 36. Then you may need some more things as ageing starts. Always think of avoiding direct sunlight. Sunglasses and a hat are highly recommended always. As well as some good sunlotion applied several times on a sunny day.
Flying for holidays only with a carry on luggage verifies all makeup choices 😃 MAC concealer palette and studio fix powder (almost used up, to be replaced soon by cruelty-free options), Ofra highlighter because I love the insane glow and my compact is a mix of 4 of their most popular colours so it works on the cheeks and also on the eyes, glowy bronzer (also for eyes and cheeks), a drugstore mascara because I replace it anyway every 3 months so I can’t justify paying for a high end one 😃 with me I also have a brush-tip eyeliner, tinted brow gel and a red lipstick (ColourPop Cozy ❤️). It’s been two weeks of using this small makeup selection and I already miss my eyeshadow palettes, blushes and more lip options, but I guess those are my summer essentials 🤣

Ever since I started watching you I noticed how you and I have many favorites in common so I went ahead and bought the Armani cushion foundation ! It’s is lighter than I expected I chose shade 2 btw thinking my silk luminous used to be 2.5 so that wouldn’t be very light 😂 it manageable though I found out that little goes a long way And that when you first apply it it doesn’t look great but once your skin soaks it in it’s great So thank you karima

All right, here we go: MyChelle Sun Shield SPF 50 in Nude and Non-Tinted--technically skincare, but I use it as a skin tint base because it has such a lightweight texture and is formulated with a bit of bentonite I think, so it sits beautifully on oily skin (very sheer coverage, but I like that). Maybelline Fit Me concealer. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand. Rouge Bunny Rouge Shadow Play. Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel. MAC Groundwork and Kiko Shadow Stick in Golden Brown (brilliant By Terry dupe). Benefit 24-hour Brow Set and some ashy pencil. Pixi Silky Eye Pen in Black Cocoa. MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash. I am so so happy to see you back :) I couldn't imagine myself without my beauty stash either, it's one of the only things that made me feel like a real human during quarantine. Wearing bright eye looks and red lipstick that I would never wear to work gave me a raison d'etre during WFH. You converted me on that cushion-- since I bought it all my other foundations are sitting unloved haha. I will fight you on PMG vs. ND tho, I just think PMG is so much more special/dynamic and when it comes to spending $$ that is what I am looking for these days. I think I have also far too much make up but if I had to keep just a few I would keep my Erborian CC cream, my Guerlain naturel foundation, my Chanel beige powder, my Marc Jacobs Omega bronzer, my Dior pump n volume mascara, a few Coulourpop and ND eyeshadow palettes, a few colourpop supershock shadows, my Chanel eyebrow pencil and for the lipsticks ... well it's really hard :D ... but I would keep some Chanel allure velvet and Colourpop lip tint crayons, and a bunch of Charlotte Tilbury and Makeupforever lipliners ;)

Pre-warning this is a very long comment😬 : Have you tried Lancôme Sourcils Brow Styler in Transparent? I'm kind of anti-Benefit, I find their branding very "junior" which just doesn't appeal to me at all, and that Lancôme one if my absolute HG for brow setting. To me at least, I think it's just as good of a hold as Benefit (which I have tried and do agree that it's a good product) but I like the brush better on Lancôme because I have more control to manipulate my very stubborn brow hairs. And idk if you can get your hands on it in Aus but my favorite brow pencil is the Róen vowBrow pencil - I also like a very hard/stiff brow pencil. It's only available in 3 shades but somehow the medium works really well for me (natural dark brown hair but bleached out to silver). I have a few other pencils but I definitely reach for it the most and think I have my best brow days when I use that one so worth checking out if you can get it in Australia! Loved this video!!! As for the full face of favorites (and this is very hard for me as well); foundations would be Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation & NARS Sheer Glow, concealers would be NARS Radiant Creamy (is it cheating if I need it in two shades though so I can color correct?) & UOMA Stay Woke (I also need 2 shades in this one to get the right shade lol I also have to cheat the system), and powder is hard because I haven't met 'the one' yet so I'll go with the one I've been using lately which is Ciaté Extraordinary Translucent Powder, cheeks for me would be Persona Cosmetics Caramel Blush, for bronzer (cheating cause this is hella old/discontinued but I still use it and freaking love it) Victoria Beckham x Esteé Lauder Bronzer in Saffron Sun, highlighters would have to agree on Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter and for my intense highlight I'd choose ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Pearlized in Flexitarian and for contour Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit. I only use the two previously mentioned products in my brows so I don't need anything else there. For eyes/eyeshadow I love Natasha Denone and PMG so this was HARD but I'd choose PMG Divine Rose I, PMG Blitz Astral Quad in Ritualistic Rose (pairs nicely with the other palette), Nudestix Magnetic Luminous Eye Pencil in Nudity (I use this one so much when I don't know what to do with my eyes), I use the Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Pencil in Night for black liner (on an angled liner brush and if the texture is too dry I thin it out with some Duraline), for mascara I'd go super bougie and choose Sisley So Intense Mascara and because that's only 4 I'd also choose a super volumizing one and that'd have to be Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir (or maybe It Cosmetics Superhero but shhhhh). Lips is also super hard because I have so many lip products but for liner I'd have to choose Marc Jacobs Poutliner in Nudeist because it makes my lips look so juicy and plum and for lip color products I'd choose Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Miss Kensington, Lisa Eldridge Velvet Beauty for a pink & Velvet Ribbon for my red and for a gloss my current favorite is Fenty Beauty FU$$Y. My legit minimal makeup collection is clear brow gel, concealer for blemishes and that's all I really need If I need a complete capsule makeup collection it would be: two shades of foundation (Dior Backstage, in particular 2wO - such a gorgeous olive shade and lighter one), two concealers (blemishes and undereyes), powder, contour (eyeshadow by inglot), warm dusty rose blush, light bronzer and rose gold highlight (MAC Soft and gentle), cream highlight (CT beauty light wand). For eyes - eye primer (MAC 24 hr), customized neutral palette (matte taupe, matte dark brown, chocolate shimmer, matte black), bronze cream eyeshadow, taupe cream eyeshadow, dark brown cream eyeshadow, sparkly top coat and sheer light pearly pigment (MAC Vanilla), duochrome foil pigment (Inglot has a lot of theese, my favourite is 22). Lashes - Mascara and cluster falsies. Brows - black eyeshadow from my neutral palette and clear brow gel, maybe an ashy brow pencil (Vivienne Sabo in 4, costs like 4 USD, but is more available in Eastern Europe. if you can find it - it is bomb). Lips - red matte lipstick (YSL tatouage couture line has amazing reds or MAC Ruby woo/Lady danger), bright pink (MAC all fired up or relentlessly red - theese look bomb with olive skin) lip balm and coral lip stain (Dior lip tatoo - double as a blush). for my capsule, I don’t wear much makeup esp now during quarantine, but my basics are glossier stretch concealer as foundation, marc jacobs remarcable as concealer, laura mercier loose setting powder, whatever greyge eyeshadow for brows, and chapstick (carmex usually!) oh yeah and lots of blush to make up for the fact that I don’t do my eye makeup much. Loved this video! I often find myself wondering what I would do if I had to reduce my (already limited) makeup to just five options for the whole face. I'd probably skip foundation, take my Maybelline Fit Me concealer, a kohl stick, mascara, this one red Colourbar lipstick (it applies sheer and is very buildable) and a brow pen :D

To be honest, I actually stopped watching many youtubers that use high end make up as much as you - I respect that, but I can't afford that, and it makes me want to buy more, so I stopped. However, I still love listening you. I love your accent and how concise are you.

Unfortunately I have not yet found a makeup product, besides lip balm (Glossier Balm Dot Com), that I wouldn't replace as soon as I found something that worked better for me. I have a difficult skin type and tone so I am still out here trying. I would love to see a video on any trends you have tried, new product technology or looks that you have come up with. I've yet to find a holy grail foundation after Dr. G discontinued their daily safe bb cream. But my concealer is Nyx Born to Glow. It's a dryer formula and works well with whatever bb cream I'm trying. Mascara hands down is Essence Lash Princess. Brows are Nyx tinted brow gel in Espresso. Blush is Melt Cosmetics honey thief (very peachy/coral) with a blush topper of Physicians Formula Butter Blush in natural glow. Bronzer is also PF Butter Bronze in light, it's very warm but works with my undertones. Eyeshadow would probably be all the brown shades from Melt Cosmetics stacks or Naked Basics from UD. Eyeliner Melt Cosmetics Columbia, perfect brown for me. Highlighter is Flexitarian from Colourpop, doubles as an eye topper. For lips, my perfect nude is Colourpop ultra satin liquid lip in magic wand, my red is Outlaw by KVD beauty and my pop of color lip is Indie Flick by Nyx. Powder is elf hd in illumination. And I can't live without Catrice dewy setting spray.

Hi Karima, have you thought about that maybe your skin is getting irritated by the alcohol which is the second ingredient in the Armany foundation? The same happened to me but 10 years ago. Since then ,my skin gets super oily in like an hour if a foundation contains alcohol (I got normal/combination skin), that's why I can't wear any Armani foundation :( which is a shame as they look really nice on the skin. I like watching videos on both high-end and drugstore products because at the end of the day knowledge is power. You get to know your preferences watching videos on high end makeup since they normally start with the new formulations, and then you can watch drugstore videos to know if there's an affordable option.
Also, sometimes, it's better to get a bunch of samples and then get a "high-end" product on sale/discount, rather than being unable to test anything from the drugstore and thus inadvertently having to buy unsuitable products. For me personally, I have dry, sensitive (and acne-prone) skin in a medium shade (with an olive undertone), so it's much harder to get good foundation products. So if I get an Armani cushion foundation for $40-70 (depending on the sales), have that work for me for a year daily and then be confident in my makeup, rather than drugstore formulas that emphasise my texture or make me break out, I'll take it. Even at its highest price point ($70), that means I'll have spent $6 on foundation in a month, without having to deal with breakouts, or buying something else to make the foundation work (e.g. darkening/lightening drops), or another foundation entirely. At the lowest price point mentioned ($40), it'll cost me $3.5/month.
Personally I'd be happy with a Korean cushion foundation or BB cream at an affordable price, but most brands' darkest shade is too light for me.
However, I won't be spending more than $5 on mascara ever, not only because the drugstore formulations are great if not better, and my skin doesn't have a problem with it, but also because you have to use them up/throw them in 3-6 months.
Also, makeup is highly subjective, and while I understand the sentiment of not wanting to spend a fortune on makeup (and concur), I know a lot of non-beauty-guru people who do have an extensive makeup collection, a lot of it high-end. It makes them happy, and it's their money (and as long as they're not neglecting their basic necessities), who are we to stop them right? So in that regard, I don't think the title is misleading.

I’m that person with an ideal small collection because I give away stuff that didn’t work. I legit have one foundation, one conealor. I don’t have a primer, I have seen no benefit in using them but I have a corrector because my skin tone is prone to discoloration. I watch too much beauty youtube but never feel pressured to update. I legit have 8 year old eyeshadows, a five year old blush, 10 year old brushes.

First youtubers buy tons of makeup to build up their channel.
Then the beauty companies send them cosmetics for free as advertisements.

My special beauty hack for traveling with five products.
Matte dark brown eyeshadow from Bobby brown is first product.
Wet as an eyeliner using a fine brush. Put on as eyeshadow using brush or just finger.
Using as brow pencil. Just brush little eyeshadow in using brow brush.
Nobody needs brow products like wax to keep brows in place. Just cut them with your small scissors. 4 or 5 millimeters of brows are perfect lengths.
Product two is concealer.
Product three is mascara.
No need to explain.
Product four is transparent powder or some colour powder. Best is compact for traveling.
Number five is lipstick in rosewood, I love it with shimmer.
Works day and night and works as a blusher, too.
These five products work between age 16 to 36.
Then you may need some more things as ageing starts.
Always think of avoiding direct sunlight. Sunglasses and a hat are highly recommended always.
As well as some good sunlotion applied several times on a sunny day.
Flying for holidays only with a carry on luggage verifies all makeup choices 😃 MAC concealer palette and studio fix powder (almost used up, to be replaced soon by cruelty-free options), Ofra highlighter because I love the insane glow and my compact is a mix of 4 of their most popular colours so it works on the cheeks and also on the eyes, glowy bronzer (also for eyes and cheeks), a drugstore mascara because I replace it anyway every 3 months so I can’t justify paying for a high end one 😃 with me I also have a brush-tip eyeliner, tinted brow gel and a red lipstick (ColourPop Cozy ❤️). It’s been two weeks of using this small makeup selection and I already miss my eyeshadow palettes, blushes and more lip options, but I guess those are my summer essentials 🤣

I have bought the Armani Cushion foundation and on working days, I use a little under the eyes as it is the only formula that does not split due to my sunscreen! Love it!! ♥️
3:06 - just wash the puff regularly. You could also try spraying the sponge with makeup disinfectant after each use.
Just throw away the sponge, not the product.
Or use brushes and wash them regularly.

All right, here we go: MyChelle Sun Shield SPF 50 in Nude and Non-Tinted--technically skincare, but I use it as a skin tint base because it has such a lightweight texture and is formulated with a bit of bentonite I think, so it sits beautifully on oily skin (very sheer coverage, but I like that). Maybelline Fit Me concealer. Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand. Rouge Bunny Rouge Shadow Play. Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel. MAC Groundwork and Kiko Shadow Stick in Golden Brown (brilliant By Terry dupe). Benefit 24-hour Brow Set and some ashy pencil. Pixi Silky Eye Pen in Black Cocoa. MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash. Charlotte Tilbury Very Victoria, Bite Beauty Molasses or Chai, MAC Vino + Rebel, one of the Bourjois Velvet The Lipstick reds, and Soap and Glory lip gloss in Plum's Up (avoid like the plague if you hate tingly glosses). A lot of these are Karima recs!

I am so so happy to see you back :) I couldn't imagine myself without my beauty stash either, it's one of the only things that made me feel like a real human during quarantine. Wearing bright eye looks and red lipstick that I would never wear to work gave me a raison d'etre during WFH. You converted me on that cushion-- since I bought it all my other foundations are sitting unloved haha. I will fight you on PMG vs. ND tho, I just think PMG is so much more special/dynamic and when it comes to spending $$ that is what I am looking for these days. Such a great video, hope you are staying well amidst all of this craziness!

I think I have also far too much make up but if I had to keep just a few I would keep my Erborian CC cream, my Guerlain naturel foundation, my Chanel beige powder, my Marc Jacobs Omega bronzer, my Dior pump n volume mascara, a few Coulourpop and ND eyeshadow palettes, a few colourpop supershock shadows, my Chanel eyebrow pencil and for the lipsticks ... well it's really hard :D ... but I would keep some Chanel allure velvet and Colourpop lip tint crayons, and a bunch of Charlotte Tilbury and Makeupforever lipliners ;)

i thought her fave blush would be the milani luminoso, powder rouge bunny rouge and concealer would be the nars one, ysl for the cushion foundation but i guess i'm all wrong, lol.
Pre-warning this is a very long comment😬 : Have you tried Lancôme Sourcils Brow Styler in Transparent? I'm kind of anti-Benefit, I find their branding very "junior" which just doesn't appeal to me at all, and that Lancôme one if my absolute HG for brow setting. To me at least, I think it's just as good of a hold as Benefit (which I have tried and do agree that it's a good product) but I like the brush better on Lancôme because I have more control to manipulate my very stubborn brow hairs. And idk if you can get your hands on it in Aus but my favorite brow pencil is the Róen vowBrow pencil - I also like a very hard/stiff brow pencil. It's only available in 3 shades but somehow the medium works really well for me (natural dark brown hair but bleached out to silver). I have a few other pencils but I definitely reach for it the most and think I have my best brow days when I use that one so worth checking out if you can get it in Australia! Loved this video!!! As for the full face of favorites (and this is very hard for me as well); foundations would be Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation & NARS Sheer Glow, concealers would be NARS Radiant Creamy (is it cheating if I need it in two shades though so I can color correct?) & UOMA Stay Woke (I also need 2 shades in this one to get the right shade lol I also have to cheat the system), and powder is hard because I haven't met 'the one' yet so I'll go with the one I've been using lately which is Ciaté Extraordinary Translucent Powder, cheeks for me would be Persona Cosmetics Caramel Blush, for bronzer (cheating cause this is hella old/discontinued but I still use it and freaking love it) Victoria Beckham x Esteé Lauder Bronzer in Saffron Sun, highlighters would have to agree on Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter and for my intense highlight I'd choose ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Pearlized in Flexitarian and for contour Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit. I only use the two previously mentioned products in my brows so I don't need anything else there. For eyes/eyeshadow I love Natasha Denone and PMG so this was HARD but I'd choose PMG Divine Rose I, PMG Blitz Astral Quad in Ritualistic Rose (pairs nicely with the other palette), Nudestix Magnetic Luminous Eye Pencil in Nudity (I use this one so much when I don't know what to do with my eyes), I use the Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Pencil in Night for black liner (on an angled liner brush and if the texture is too dry I thin it out with some Duraline), for mascara I'd go super bougie and choose Sisley So Intense Mascara and because that's only 4 I'd also choose a super volumizing one and that'd have to be Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir (or maybe It Cosmetics Superhero but shhhhh). Lips is also super hard because I have so many lip products but for liner I'd have to choose Marc Jacobs Poutliner in Nudeist because it makes my lips look so juicy and plum and for lip color products I'd choose Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Miss Kensington, Lisa Eldridge Velvet Beauty for a pink & Velvet Ribbon for my red and for a gloss my current favorite is Fenty Beauty FU$$Y. THIS WAS SO HARD OMG sorry for the longest comment ever 🙈
My legit minimal makeup collection is clear brow gel, concealer for blemishes and that's all I really need
If I need a complete capsule makeup collection it would be: two shades of foundation (Dior Backstage, in particular 2wO - such a gorgeous olive shade and lighter one), two concealers (blemishes and undereyes), powder, contour (eyeshadow by inglot), warm dusty rose blush, light bronzer and rose gold highlight (MAC Soft and gentle), cream highlight (CT beauty light wand). For eyes - eye primer (MAC 24 hr), customized neutral palette (matte taupe, matte dark brown, chocolate shimmer, matte black), bronze cream eyeshadow, taupe cream eyeshadow, dark brown cream eyeshadow, sparkly top coat and sheer light pearly pigment (MAC Vanilla), duochrome foil pigment (Inglot has a lot of theese, my favourite is 22). Lashes - Mascara and cluster falsies. Brows - black eyeshadow from my neutral palette and clear brow gel, maybe an ashy brow pencil (Vivienne Sabo in 4, costs like 4 USD, but is more available in Eastern Europe. if you can find it - it is bomb). Lips - red matte lipstick (YSL tatouage couture line has amazing reds or MAC Ruby woo/Lady danger), bright pink (MAC all fired up or relentlessly red - theese look bomb with olive skin) lip balm and coral lip stain (Dior lip tatoo - double as a blush). Eyeliner - black and brown gel pencils (also Vivienne sabo). Liquid liner - black eyeshadow and some binder like Inglot. I think it's all

Oh man, I’d chose like 2 skin, cheek and eye products, and then as many lipsticks as I can get away with. Favs include the Dior lacquer stick in dark flower, various shades of the peripera airy ink velvet, Lisa Eldridge velvet fawn, CT Bond Girl, Love Liberty and Shanghai Nights, and this random red lipstick I bought in a dodgy corner store in Italy.
Karima try out Shu Uemura brow pencil! It's also semi-hard and the only shows up on skin with oil/foundation. It aldo has a pretty ashy shade :)

for my capsule, I don’t wear much makeup esp now during quarantine, but my basics are glossier stretch concealer as foundation, marc jacobs remarcable as concealer, laura mercier loose setting powder, whatever greyge eyeshadow for brows, and chapstick (carmex usually!) oh yeah and lots of blush to make up for the fact that I don’t do my eye makeup much. I love rubbing my eyes a lot oops lol

Except for lipsticks ...wich i have about 40 atm , and a few more eyeshadow palettes this is most of my collection right now. Unlike nailpolish, (i stoped counting after reaching 500) makeup expires so what i don't love, has to go .
Loved this video! I often find myself wondering what I would do if I had to reduce my (already limited) makeup to just five options for the whole face. I'd probably skip foundation, take my Maybelline Fit Me concealer, a kohl stick, mascara, this one red Colourbar lipstick (it applies sheer and is very buildable) and a brow pen :D

IF I was forced to condense my makeup down to a select few I think I’d have to do Lancome teint idole foundation, too faced born this way concealer - the sculpting one!, Charlotte tilbury airbrushed powder, ABH brow definer and soap brow, dose of colors baked browns eyeshadow palette, diorshow pump & volume mascara, ilia bronzer, Kevyn aucion sculpting powder, glossier cloud paint in dusk & puff, kaja highlighter in toy alien AND bare minerals lipstick in peony.. this was longer than expected!

I was thinking of doing this tag too and fell into a rabbit hole of considering which is something I would've gravitated naturally WITHOUT knowing about it from youtube or specially looking for it in my country. What would be my aesthetic if I didn't know all of those possibilities existed, and would I still be willing to spend so much money on makeup? I want to make a chill video but my brain says 'philosophical thesis on aesthetics and preferences modeled by our environment!'

Unfortunately I have not yet found a makeup product, besides lip balm (Glossier Balm Dot Com), that I wouldn't replace as soon as I found something that worked better for me. I have a difficult skin type and tone so I am still out here trying. I would love to see a video on any trends you have tried, new product technology or looks that you have come up with. I've yet to find a holy grail foundation after Dr. G discontinued their daily safe bb cream. But my concealer is Nyx Born to Glow. It's a dryer formula and works well with whatever bb cream I'm trying. Mascara hands down is Essence Lash Princess. Brows are Nyx tinted brow gel in Espresso. Blush is Melt Cosmetics honey thief (very peachy/coral) with a blush topper of Physicians Formula Butter Blush in natural glow. Bronzer is also PF Butter Bronze in light, it's very warm but works with my undertones. Eyeshadow would probably be all the brown shades from Melt Cosmetics stacks or Naked Basics from UD. Eyeliner Melt Cosmetics Columbia, perfect brown for me. Highlighter is Flexitarian from Colourpop, doubles as an eye topper. For lips, my perfect nude is Colourpop ultra satin liquid lip in magic wand, my red is Outlaw by KVD beauty and my pop of color lip is Indie Flick by Nyx. Powder is elf hd in illumination. And I can't live without Catrice dewy setting spray.

Hi Karima, have you thought about that maybe your skin is getting irritated by the alcohol which is the second ingredient in the Armany foundation? The same happened to me but 10 years ago. Since then ,my skin gets super oily in like an hour if a foundation contains alcohol (I got normal/combination skin), that's why I can't wear any Armani foundation :( which is a shame as they look really nice on the skin. Love all your videos :)
