Looking to do engine swap on a 2004 GMC c7500. Is this software and hardware compatible with that era of vehicle, and can you change factory tunes? The motor is a 300hp 7.8L and my current motor is the 230hp 7.8l
Nice work! By the way, aside from a valid SPS2 subscription, do you need to have a live internet connection on your laptop while you're doing the PCM update?
I'm asking since this might be a challenge for folks who don't have the vehicle in the shop.

I see your video is only 1 month ago. Did techline update since? I don't get prompts about vin to override. 1st try got error e4492 cyber security error, and every try after e4491. I have same setup as u, vxdiag vcx nano and win 10 pro.

Probably not, cruze is a global a vehicle from 2011, however it can be cloned easily, stay tuned for video on this
Where are you located I have a 2003 Chevrolet trailblazer no body at Chevrolet can reprogram a new bcm if you’re not to far from Picayune Mississippi I will drive the vehicle to you.

Man, I love your content - you do some great things! I just don't understand what "GM has banned me" means. You're obviously using GM software in this video so you do have access. So, what exactly have you been banned from?
They banned me from Techline Connect, they claim my content is the reason more cars are being repaired vs people buying new cars and I'm causing them lost revenue. YES I still use the software, THIS CONENT CAN'T BE STOPPED!
They hate because VCX suite is cracked software. However techline connect uses passthru with Java so this portion is technically all legit

No I that's a global a vehicle, won't work, you need to buy new or use different technique, what model pcm?
so what is actually different with a global A vehicle from a non global A of the same year? they both still have theft deterrent? i figured non global a would not have theft deterrent? and also the fact that the eprom needs to be replaced on a global a pcm in order for the vin to be changed vs non global a you can apparently change the vin with out replacing the eprom? your intelligence intrigues me, i am starting to get pretty confident with TLC your tips and tricks help me a bunch

It does not have the Over ride button anymore. It just kicks me out of the app while trying to communicate with vehicle.
What vci are you using?
@@globalcommerce7654 original MDI 1. Lets say i have a used ECM and when i try to enter the VIN straight in the vin Bar manually.. it kicks me out. And if i continue with the used VIN, its fine and will continue to the end with no problem.
