What type of laptop do you recommend for programming ?? I’m not sure which one I should buy, does it need a lot of memory since we downloading so much info?
Windows 10pro-11 4ram+ 500gb-1tb SSD for best choice of laptop check the manufacturer specifications for j2534 application
Does this program work with European GM cars (for example: Opel/Vauxhall) ?

You may also use the contact us selection at the bottom of the web page and call to speak with a representative they are very help full. If you just want to replace the modules like ecm/ecu "IOPROG" works great! Good luck to you ....

I get that gds2 is not connecting to device when I connect my autel to the software. Do you know how to fix that? I have updated my autel and have the drivers installed
First check your PC specifications to make sure it's compatible with the GDS2/SPS requirements and anti virus is disabled. Second step If PC within requirements call AcdelcoTDS for a technical support remote session and they will get your software running... Call (888)212-8959
This for all brand of car or for specific one
The j2534 works for most manufacturers not all... GM/Chrysler/Ford/Honda/Toyota works great on the makes listed.
how did you get the autel j box to show up on the tlc screen. I only have mdi and mdi2
It's automatically downloaded yo your PC if it doesn't show up on the tool selection. Uninstall TLC and re install the software and see what happens. If it doesn't show again on the tool selection call AC Delco techline connect help line and they will remote assist you.

I watched your video with interest. I have recently tried this. Everything starts as you show. There doesn't seem to be a vin subscription anymore. I had to take a SPS2 subscription out for 1 week (there were a couple of shorter subs but I wanted to experiment with it once I'd done the job I was installing it for). There is now no specific vin number sub. When you click on active subscriptions it takes you to the download Techline Connect page. Download and install goes perfectly. No errors. Once downloaded and installed is where the problem begins. When starting the program from the webpage it then tells me not all components are downloaded (something like that but you get the idea). I have watched your video and countless others and everything I have watched is exactly what I have done. All I get then is contact support via a helpline number. Unfortunately there is no help anywhere and no email to contact them. Whether this is because I'm in the UK I do not know. I've read they are upgrading or changing their system. I haven't contacted support as I was trying to get SPS2 running to program a customers vehicle
and I ran out of time. I'd love to see a video of someone doing a recent install. I know I did everything right on a fresh legal install of won 10 64 pro.

Yes if it's a j2534 device you can downl9ad and use the software
@@12voltautoprogramming40 such as godiag gd101 j2534 or mongoose j2534 or tactrix 2.0 j2534. Are these compatible?
It doesn't show any of those devices on the tool selection options. Call Acdelcotds help supprot and ask them they are very nice and helpful.
@@12voltautoprogramming40 Thank you very much for your answers. I did not change the ECM. But I want to reprogram the ECM. Does immobilizer cause problems? Will it be necessary to introduce a key?
@@mstbk93 Immobolizer systems do cause some issues but can be solved with the proper programming procedures. Yes you will need to register existing keys if transponder key type is equipped or some only have vats code in ignition tumbler and will only need programming once.
