Programming with GM'S new SPS2

- GM had revamped there Techincal Delivery System and is now called SPS2 Tech Connect, this will have to be downloaded and i recommend watching the video that is provided, this shows you how to use the new SPS2. Your pass through connector should still be there if you were using SPS1. I go through the steps of using this right after you log in. Thanks for watching.

Hi Gary, I have a 2023 3500HD. Is that the software that I would need to program in like the Navigation and back up cameras, power folding mirros, etc? I know the radio and ecus have everyrhing integrated, just not unlocked from the factory unless you pay for the higher trim or options. Looking to upgrade some of the features on mine

But i have changed bcm, ecm , immo + key are from another car
Only cluster is left from previous setup
I have bcm pin, how to adapt immo and sync modules?

Great video. Didn't know about the change until recently. I was listening to you at the beginning and then saw the sign and was like oh, thats why he sounds like a Long Islander. I'm a NC native, but married my East Meadow native wife 26 years ago. We live in TN, but just had one of her heavy NY accent brothers visit recently from Long Island. Great info here. Thank you.

I have a few quesitons.... so i know you have to buy the mdi2 device and pay the $45 for the vin. but is there anything else you have to pay for? do you have to pay the $4000 for techline connect or do they let you only use that for the sp s2 programming?
also if i had 3 different ecms that i wanted to program all the same vin and calibration to would i be able to do that off 1 vin lisences or would i need more?
You purchase time from the GM website, the 45 per vin with 24 month access to the vin. Download Tech-connect. Do AC Delco TDS that should get you to were you want to be. Also may have to load the software to your MDI or J2534 Pass through connector

Tech connect you download, then install software for your pass through connector, and purchase time, 50.00 per car for 24 months. Or you can always have someone program for you
What hardware interface did you use to communicate with the vehicle
I have the interface from Ease Diagnostics, the company was sold but they are all made by Drew technologies

when you look on the GM website under system requirements it says windows 10 pro , not sure home will work
What pass through do you use? Just a scanner with J2534?
I bought the Ease diagnostic pass thru many years ago, that and my laptop

Hi Gary, is there a reason your Autel/Snap-On could not perform that programming? Was the TCM replaced? I don't know GM software just BMW.
yes, new tcm, had to purchase time from gm, need the pass thru connector to perform this the J2534
@@GaryFerraro ok copy yes I have the Wi-Fi adapter for diag/service and J2534 for programming. I will call you tomorrow about possibility of shipping a 6HP21 valve body for overhaul.

GM is definitely one of the easiest makes to program. I love the fact there's a site for verifying calibrations.... for FREE, although it's not a horrible cost for a subscription.
