You can tell Reggie is getting more comfortable in front of the camera, and not so shy. It's kinda cool to watch someone progressively come out of their shell.
Yeah, I always like seeing him featured in videos, and I'm subscribed to his channel. It's just cool seeing how much more comfortable he has gotten over the last year or two.
I've been pretty much the same since the beginning lol. I just joke alot more, and I've noticed my charisma gets peple pumped up to play some of these games which makes me happy

I got a review copy of Anima and I thought it was awful. confusing maps and poor combat don't help and then you have a massively convoluted story.

Dear MJR, I have been gaming since the 80's and am familiar with so much on your channel, I have a family now and no room for a game room which is gutting, but it's amazing to watch your perspective on things. My PS4 Pro never ceases to amaze me, and this video gave me some great games to check out. Great job selecting your hidden gems; I hadn't heard of any of them. Really enjoyed this video a lot.. Caladrius Blaze and Giana Sisters look like awesome games, so off to the Playstation Store I go. Caladrius Blaze was only 8 bucks, and for 25 bucks I got a bundle of Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams and Rogue Stormers. 3 games for just a shave over 30 bucks? I love awesome AND inexpensive! Thanks again for the recommendations!

Radical Reggie It looks amazing!! & the art style kind of reminds me of Rayman Origins and Legends which are two of my all time favorite platformers :)
I downloaded it on PS3 a few years ago ( If I'd known it was coming to disc I would have waited). It was good enough for me to play the whole thing, but it does get kind of repetitive after a while. Especially the music. You'll hear the same few songs over and over.
is very cheap on sales (like 2 or 3 dollars) for PC on Steam. You should play it

Gravity Rush is a game that doesn't get talked about enough. It was released on the Vita but got a remastering on the ps4. I'm glad it's getting a sequel soon :)

Based on conversations with friends etc, it's because it was originally a Vita game originally that people doubt it will be worth playing on ps4. Usually games adapted from handheld consoles feel limited

You're right, I don't personally know that they are "gems", however, that's what the video title called them, so that's the context in which I used the word. It was a generalization.
Which ones were you interested in?
Mostly Shadow Complex, Anima, and Dex.
I always like seeing these shootemups on these videos. Im a big fan of that genre and some of these games i either forgot about or didnt know about. I need to get Caladrius Blaze for my PS4 for sure.

was really hard to find any hidden gem videos for ps4 when I got mine last dec. anywhere on youtube. Glad of all people you made one. Pretty much all indie games in shadow complex style though, don't fancy any of them unfortunately. Keep em coming though! Also, glad INfamous Second Son was not listed, was recommended as a hidden gem a lot and only item I have ever returned in my life.

How is it on PS4 compared to PC? I've played the PC version and have trouble imagining it on a controller.

PC is usually better that is a silly question.
I don't think the pc version has the add on though does it? Maybe it got an update but when I played it, it didn't

Great vid! There is a version of Caladrius on the PS3 as well. Also, I have been playing a version of the Giana Sisters on OUYA that looks to be more in line with the original.

Do these really count as PS4 hidden gems if all of them are released on other platforms? This is what disappoints me most and simultaneously I enjoy about this generation. I can get everything on steam, but very little worthwhile is exclusive on the consoles anymore.

Good point here, but it would be good if there was some things said about why it's better to play it on PS-4 and not on some other platforms, since most games from this video I see on Steam all the time.

+Tom W you would get a very short video if you'd focus only on exclusives because there aren't that many ... which is why they are dropping all sorts of re-releases, indie games and games from other platforms on there to inflate the library and cover up that the console hasn't much to offer in terms of original games ... except for bloodborne .... and bloodborne... i mean the fact that reggie is in the video and you don't see any anime fighting games with girls should tell you something. ;)

You got Me Jesus. But I was curious and checked out most of the games and there grades was average at best. There was however a few games who where good..
So you judged them based on reviews you saw or your own opinion?

If you judge games before you play them yourself, then there's nothing this video can do foot you.

I've always enjoyed MetalJesus and everyone else coming on the show and simply talk about games and everything else they collect. Typically, the hidden gems/top games to play on certain console episodes don't really impress me, to say the least. I watch them, yes, but most of the time I say, "Yeah, no brainer that this game is on top," or not agreeing with the certain games they suggest picking up.
But this episode blew me away. Every game that Reggie suggested is now on my list of games I want to get for my ps4 collection. Everytime I picked up Republiquc in a store, I always put it back on the shelf but was always curious about it. And then Jesus pulls out Republiquc and shows off some gameplay...blew me away! Keep doing what you're doing everyone at MetalJesus!

Yes!! I’ve done Kholat gameplay videos and no one watches most likely they haven’t heard of it! It’s a GREAT game based on a truly freaky story and it’s about $3 right now. My last video had me screaming as the Sean Bean thing got me, lol. Great video guys!

My favorite hidden gem for PS4 is Battle Worlds Kronos. its a awesome turn based strategy game that takes up almost no space on the hardrive and has some real replayabillity! if anyone hasn't tried it then i cant recommend it enough, cheap too!

Ether One is a total hidden gem for me. I have really fond memories of it. Nice concept, engaging story and an original take on an inventory driven adventure game. It got a physical release in steel book too!
