best part of this cover was from 2:44 - 3:38 when she stopped singing like him and started singing like her. I love the flare she added to the song. I was really hoping to hear the guy enter into a duet.

When I saw the thumbnail being a female vocalist I was really curious about how the vocals would be covered. I actually like how there was a slight variation/adaptation because it fits her voice amazingly. I know some people might say "oh it doesn't sound like the original", yeah well, its still fucking amazing. Give all of them credit! I also agree with others how it sounds like Lacuna Coil! Definitely do LC covers!!

dustercat21 Instruments are great, and vocals sound good too, but if she is the lead singer she needs to put more aggression into it. just my opinion cause thats the reason I like Soad cause of their aggression
RcesarR I like SoaD bc of the harshness of the vocals too but when it comes to covers, I try not to listen to them with too much bias to the original. Not all covers are trying to copy the original- some are renditions where they make the song the way they want

Last minute of this cover is totally epic.
The main singer's is really good, and she has a really good voice. She hits all the notes perfectly. The other guy doing screams is also really good at that, and I'm asking why didn't he make the harsh parts instead of the singer.. Even if they sound good even clean, I think it should have been much more powerful, it's the nature of the song! I liked everything else though, expecially the "forsaken me" part

It's unfortunate that this song is being compared to the original. Because when it comes down to it, almost no cover can be as great as the original. Especially with a band as difficult to cover as SOAD. Nicely done, basically the only cover I can truely find no major fault in.

I don't know why there are so many dislikes. They put their own spin on the vocals which is is what cover bands do. And what makes them original. Anyways. I loved it.
